Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Fu-k Wells Fargo

Fu-k this company. Fu-k RTO. Fu-k the non-existent leadership that has no clue about the impact of their half-baked decisions. I hope this awful place fails and fails miserably.

Sorry, you won't simply get layed off and get a severance package. You will be terminated with cause for insubordination.

@2hvl+1fNfBbPC Bring it! Nothing would make me happier than to retire early with a big bag of money from the Stagecoach.

Keep crying about RTO , resisting and staying home and this board will truly become a layoff forum.

In my nearly 20 years, I can no longer count the decisions, big and small, I’ve seen them make and then unmake and then remake again. It’s dizzying.

@1qwc - Agree! I could have written your post, but I’m in Corporate Risk, which is not the place for poor decisions and lack of leadership. I wouldn’t doubt this is pervasive across the company.

tell us how you really feel. I have little sympathy for those that complain about their plight and do nothing about it. Anytime over my career where I was in a position where I found myself unhappy, beit my manager, work, future prospects, etc. I took it upon myself to find something else. Sometimes that involves taking one step back, but in the end was able to move two steps forward. if all you can do is complain. perhaps you need to look in the mirror

Loyalty is earned through trust, respect, and freedom to choose. If someone has the option to go somewhere else but doesn’t - because of much better than average pay/benefits, WFH freedom, and an amazing work culture that respects their ideas - that’s loyalty. You can’t force loyalty.

Agree, OP! There are so many decisions the current mgmt team made that they are now in-making! Are they off their meds?

2020 exit all IT presence in Philippines, letting go decent teams who did good work. 2022 - watch for “massive” expansion in Philippines and India!

2020 location strategy! A handful of strategic hub locations for IT - move or lose your job! Covid says, “Saul, hold my beer”. 2022 - IT is massively excited to announce expanding presence to 500 new markets (not an exaggeration).

WTF people? Do you think you’ve gotten rid of so many of us no one is left to remember how you’ve made and unmade and made the same decisions in 3 years or less? Oh, and the kicker is you were given all the critical feedback when you first made the decision that has you remaking it now. What losers.

@1bpw+1fNfBbPC if only you reflect on what Wells Fargo did massive job cuts as part of Charlie 's “efficiency initiatives" that bring more harm to many people depended on job income and healthcare for children and families. Wells Fargo CEO Charles Scharf gets 20% pay raises his compensation was $24.5 million for 2021 during pandemic, high inflation and high gasoline costs. Did Wells Fargo corporate elites politicians see our life struggles? Nope, typical, greed and no corporate responsibility. Wells Fargo is crooked as sh-t !

@faz they treat us like toddlers, so this post actually seems a little more mature than a Wells employee.

I don't think there is anything I can add to this post. Wells Fargo is too far gone to really change in a way that will benefit the employees.
