349:1- 2019
What was it in 2019?
OP just learned that for the last 40 years Capitalism in America has been corrupted by the wealthy.
Well regulated Capitalism - pretty good.
Rich people buying congress and owning their Board's of Directors? - turns rich people into leaches. Parasites, if you will.
"I’m just having a hard time understanding what does one do with all that money?! Like where does it go? How do you spend this money? How do you feel comfortable spending this money knowing very well how much the real people getting the jobs done here, earn? It’d weigh very heavily on my conscious if it was me. I’d feel horrible and seriously not ok wanting to have this ridiculous amount in my possession. We just went through a pandemic, there’s potential WW3 whispers, inflation and potential recession.. like how does one feel ok with this much money and not feel horrible? He sure does not look like the type that’d be supporting charities or making donations.. especially with the amount even getting increased the past two years? SERIOUSLY! How does one sleep like this? How?"
Why do you care? Envy is a deadly sin for a reason. What someone else makes has no bearing on your life. Just do your job. If you are unhappy, move on.
Easy Peasy.
To the moon🚀 - Scharf

Become the CEO. You won't be b*tching then.
Not even close to Oligarch level.
Settle down now.
@fuj+1fMVJVUX
Smaller town. Lived here since birth and there aren’t many options that pay better. Not all of us WF employees are in big cities. I know that gets forgotten here.
Welcome to corporate America. You must be new here
@qkz+1fMVJVUX since you are being a bit of an a-s giving out math lessons on average vs median, here is one for you:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Average
Average is a very generic term and one that people use to twist statistics to match their narrative. You are correct that most people consider average to be the mean but you could correctly call the median or mode the average if it helps your point.
There... now I'm the a-s. Sorry.
@qkz+1fMVJVUX
Wouldn’t be a math class as the numbers are correct. I mistyped, it happens. Anyone familiar with the median annual total compensation methodology knows what those numbers refer to.
Regardless, the ratio has gone up.
@bzn+1fMVJVUX Take a math lesson on the difference between average and median. Very different numbers.
For 2020 it was 274:1 , so during the midst of a global pandemic.. that gap has even raised higher. Avg employee salary then was 74,416 and his was 20,392,046.
48k here. How do you think I feel? No meaningful cost of living adjustment, but I do get waived delivery fees for on site food delivery when in the office. Let me eat cake.🤦🏻♂️
OP is Chuck
Or how about be BORN into it. Oops, too late!
“ I've been here 23 years”. That would be your problem. 23 years at the same place with minimal upward movement, and complaining about salary? Only one person to blame for that scenario.
@hsn get out of retail/call centers.
Average for corp America. Somehow the CEOs think they earn that amount of compensation when in fact it's like being born into nobility. Nothing earned and every ting bestowed. Long live the King!
Hey OP. Take yourself off to CEO school and you can make the big bucks as well. Why care what other people earn?
I wish I made that much. I've been here 23 years, constant 4's on MPP and I make just over half of that.
Charlie Derangement Syndrome is out of control on here
300 is also the number of threads talking about Charlie’s salary.
I find it hard to believe that’s the average Wells salary.
I bet you love he got a 20% raise when we got 2% at most too.
That work they site was done by the employees. Chuckles is just the face.
