Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

We were told by our manager that we could not get training because then we would just quit and get a better job.

My 2 goals;

1. Learn and become a notorious liar like my manager
2. Focus on second job/passive income/extra income

1. 20% pay raise like our CEO
2. Really cannot think of anything else since got 0% raise this year

Pluralsight is mentioned here frequently, but unfortunately not all team members have access.

All my goals are pushed down from above.

1. take additional classes on Pluralsight, Anything that interests you??
2. any docs that need process updates?

1. See Charlie on the street with a Job Wanted sign.

Goals:

1. find a remote job
2. see goal #1

1. Work Harder
2. For less money

1. Tax the infidels
2. Plunder the treasures

Ok, let me try... so if you happen to be in tech then you have access to self directed training then I seriously would focus on something that will benefit you here and somewhere else. For example, take training for the cloud certifications and get them. That will help you if you stay (God bless) or if you leave (God willing). Ouch, it hurts to give real advice. Best to you.

1. Increase leadership skills by completing a certain number of DevelopYou courses per quarter.
2. Become a SME for certain products available by doing additional research then providing talking points to coworkers
3. Cross train for a position that impacts your work so you can understand the connections better

Whatever you choose make it measurable. Then set the bar low so it’s easy to obtain and/or exceed.

1. Only open legitimate accounts
2. Share at least 5 ideas at the water cooler

1. crush your enemies
2. see them driven before you, 3) hear the lamentations of their women

My two goals are not catching Covid and avoiding KoolAid drinkers in the office. Feel free to use mine.
