I've spoken with one of the office coordinators. They said no one can change office locations until "second phase." No clue when the "second phase" will happen (if it's in couple weeks or couple months). They're trying to figure out how full most facilities will be, and considering getting more space (which is stupid, since they can save tons of money having people working from home).

@2zkq+1fK3Oxor - They changed their minds, the timing, the FAQs and a sh-t ton of other things since last fall. Why would you attempt to sort stuff out last fall when they still had their head up their a-s? Not that that has changed now.
You were supposed to get this sorted out months ago. When you first got your assignment back in the fall, you were supposed to contact your coordinator if there were issues with your assignment.
Your fault for not following the many emails that came out.

“Second phase” is the equivalent of “the check is in the mail”. Just a stall tactic.

I was incorrectly assigned to a building about 60 miles from me. The coordinator fixed it for me, emailed her and a day later I was assigned to a building 7 miles away.
Still won't be going in much.
There is no "Second Phase". They are just telling you that to get you to go away. Just WF management 101.
"Trying to figure out how full..." seriously. They know how many people they have assigned to each building/floor/neighborhood. They know that those people all have to appear at least 3 days per week. Maybe someone should introduce them to statistics....but then they'll start dictating what days each of us has to go to the office... the level of incompetence is staggering.
Second phase will be EOY layoffs. Survive that and you might be allowed to request an office change.
Why so slow?
