Cr-p, I should have sold while it was up... now it's back down to where it was when the shares went into my account last ear (before I left to work elsewhere).

If you reallocated out when rumour was that the first Fed interest rate hike might be 0.50% horrors! Including the portion that was in DEC31's 401k match, well done and best wishes on placing into different assets

It's not inflation that caused financial stocks to tank - it's the expectstion that rates were going to go up quickly - but now it may take longer. Have not read our finincial filings in a while - but I'd bet if rates went up 100bps - we'd make ~$8B more - but Brandon needs to crash the economy to stamp out inflation - and having $8 a gallon gas is a great way to do that - plus he blames it on mother russia. Couple of side benefits - the climate change goals get met sooner and maybe more stimmys are to be had to reward your political pals. Going to be an economic $hit show for a while...

"inflation is kicking in the door"

Inflation is actually good for financial institutions. What's going on now is solely due to Russian aggression.

Remember when all you cheerleaders were saying Charlie was the second coming of christ for the stock going sideways for two years?

Can't wait to see that insanity again.

Wonder how many billions of dollars of WFC’s money Charlie spent on stock between $50 and $60 with the corporate buyback, rather than investing in technology? It’s Tim Sloan all over again.

Wells Fargo = Pyramid Scheme.
