Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

What happened to the new suite of credit cards?

There was all this buzz in late 2021 that an entire new suite of rewards cards were going to roll out in early 2022. It’s March now and we haven’t heard another peep about them.

Can anybody name any innovation or new product rollout that Schart ever introduced anywhere for any FI, ever?

The answer is “No.”. Charlie has never worked his way up the chain as he started at the top and stayed there. You cannot learn without doing, except for layoffs and sales of LOBs. Creating things is much harder.

I used to work at Cap One. These are knock-offs of what they offered 15 years ago.

@fnd So true! There are a lot of ppl here that think AGILE is specific to Wells, too. I’m always shocked and explain it’s been around a long time and we didn't invent it. Just like the Flesch-Kincaid model we adopted to d-mb down our letters. This is used by the military to simplify procedures-NOT to communicate with customers. I’d love to know what m0r0n decided to implement this and why we sometimes set the bar at 9th grade. The purpose is to make sure the customer understands what we’re conveying but we just sound like WE couldn’t pass the 10th grade. LOL

Not a great offer, anyone with decent credit can get $200 after reaching a $500 balance.. WF needs a $1000 balance for the same.

@tzn, you are so right. This bank is SO archaic. They act like Agile is something new. It started over 20 years ago. I just have to laugh and laugh!

It’s a dinosaur product for a dinosaur bank. I worked for a competitor in the late 90’s with cards that touted similar benefits. That was almost TWENTY FIVE years ago. Maybe they realized that the roll out made them look less innovative than they thought.🤷🏻

There's a lot of new things that WF promised which won't happen. This goes for any other bank too. Attrition is sky high which means there's not enough consistent staff to launch any new features or products.

Add 6-12 months to whatever time was promised and that's being generous.
