CEO Town Hall - reviving this beauty

For anyone who hasn't heard the "cult" comment, his dislike of football (big whoop) and almost coming unhinged about what we call each other (yet we were ordered to stop saying 'team member' but rather use 'employee', 'colleague' or 'partner").... go watch the Jan 2022 CEO Town Hall in WFOD (icon gone from tray but is still in your programs).

This is the beauty I'm reviving for anyone who may want the info.

"Yes, I found the time..... For the "leak to the press" comment.... here's some info for anyone who wants to use it:

The band of Dimon rejects is playing a tune that won't ultimately be well received at WFC.

This will end sooner than most think.

Just received HR correspondence at home from WFC: Dear Team member...had to do with a compliance requirement regarding income. Guess HR didn't tune into the TH.

Clearly, what we call each other is the root of all of WF’s problems. Once this is resolved surely we will all be golden.

I pretty much agree with @brn; however, if he doesn’t agree with “mandating” TM, then maybe he shouldn’t mandate employee to the point everything had to be retitled. How much money did we spend on renaming things employee?? Seems stupid to me and like a waste.

When I joined, I was corrected many times to say team member. I personally like what Charlie is saying. To not mandate and hold each other to using a particular term.

Get this out of your head, OP! Yes, it shocking and funny at the time, but nobody cares now.

could it be that there's been no engagement by the press because.... it's a big nothingburger.

When I joined WF with Wachovia merger I always thought Team Member was a bit much anyway. I don't understand why anyone thinks changing that is material at all. With Stack Ranking going on it really should be "competitor" not colleague.

How many times has this list of media contacts been published since the event? Three? Four? As its own thread as responses buried in other threads but still, no media reporting!

It's almost as is the only one who gives a sh-t is the OP. There really are other things to worry about. I'm pretty sure that's why Charlie gets irritated at some of these types of questions to begin with - people are focused on the wrong things. Focusing on minutiae is a core competency for this place. It's exhausting to work with people like the OP.

@iyz+1f8rLxkE across the Enterprise teams were told they had to remove "team member" f rom communications, procedures, policies, etc. and instead use more "inclusive" words like "employee", "partner", "colleague" as part of the firms DE&I commitments to be more inclusive. While I agree this post is mostly pointless and OP should find better things to do, there was instruction from CS and then reminders from his directs of the language change. I don't recall exact date, but if you look at things like the employee handbook changes, the date is in there.

We weren’t ordered to stop saying team member. He says we can call each whatever we want. This post is ridiculous.
