Not really sure about this new Color Health testing procedure. It replaces the Binax Now home test kits they originally sent out. Those rapid tests gave results immediately. But Wells Fargo changed their minds and decided not to use them anymore.
So now with Color Health, the unvaccinated are supposed to go on-site to pick up a test kit, then take the swab and collect a sample, put it in a vial, then drop off the vials on-site to be mailed to the Color Health labs. Color Health Lab will examine the samples, and text the employee with the results, as well as tell Wells Fargo.
So the employee might test positive, and already be on-site for a day or so before lab results are done and communicated.
The employee finds out they are infected after having been around others at their location.
What is the purpose of this? Other than adding to start-up company Color Health’s revenue? Lab tests may be more accurate, but results are not immediately available.
It seems testing is now big business.
