Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Ok, so *now* who's leaving?

For the last several months we've been hearing that after bonuses and 401k matching is paid out, there'll be a mass exodus. Now that we're past those milestones, who among us is actually making their way toward the exits?

Am at 20+ year employee. Have been applying externally since late last year. Few bites, nothing worth jumping for yet. I stopped looking at WF jobs in 2020. I'm also not concerned about being laid off this year due to the work I do with upcoming migrations that will impact everyone (keyword: Microsoft). But, if the right job offer comes along I'd give 2 weeks and leave without another thought. My loyalty to WF stopped when CS came along.

I’m definitely going to make a move out! Just getting a few ducks in a row and polishing things up. It’s time.

Second week of Feb will be my last day. Could have been earlier but I purposely timed it for the bonus :)

Love my job, like my peers and manager, and was happy with my bonus and increase. Absolutely no reason to leave.

We had a ton of really talented and tenured people leave our function shortly after bonuses. Two I know for sure resigned the day their bonus hit - then for 2-3 months there were at least 1-2 announcements each week of resignations.

If raises are as bad/sad as last year, yes, you'll see another mass exodus.

I wish I could leave. I would if a much better position with a lot more money came my way.

I am going to coast; basically log on answer one email a day to 'prove' I showed up for work and wait for them to performance management me out. I'm ready to retire but have zero incentive to give notice and exit graciously. I don't need any recommendation for reference for another job. This place made my life a living he-l for the last two years so I am more than willing to ride the clock and collect my pay for as long as I can.

actively looking - can't do another year of 1% raise - despite "going above and beyond".

As much as I don’t want to leave my team, I’ve been burned out for a while and need a change of scenery. Been holding out for bonus, but haven’t heard yet what that will be. I’m conflicted to some degree, but for my own mental and physical health, I need to move. I’ll be out by mid-March, most likely.

It’s sad the way things have gone over the last couple of years. I’ve been at WF since the Wachovia days and from 2018-early 2021, my current job may be the best job I’ll ever have. Management churn and some key retirements have really changed things.

I'm leaving now, but has nothing to do with waiting for incentives to hit.

I’m happy with my bonus and raise, but RTO and COVID testing would push me out, especially if I have to pay anything.
I was 100% wfh before COVID, so this makes me somewhat bitter.
I guess I’ll hang as long as I can, the checks are nice.

Actively interviewing, mostly in case RTO reactivates. Compensation would be lower anywhere else, but I'm willing to take a hit to keep WFH.

Depends on RTO plans. The sooner they force us back the sooner I’m leaving.

Sorry... still haven't received my bonus/merit adjustment information but probably not leaving. I'll continue to work from home ... might as well be pi---d off and miserable here as much as anywhere else.

Wasn’t going to leave before. Not planning to now

That's a fair question. The merit increase I received has lowered the priority of my search.

It wasn't all that high priority before, though. The local market can't compete in compensation.
