I'd ki-l for something productive to do. There is a serious dry spell for some of us - literally 2 weeks with no work. You'd think management would plan the production teams workload better before leaving for the year.. Might sound fun to some but nothing is longer than an 8 hour work day with nothing to do except read Teamworks articles and read The Layoffs board.

Here’s a thought: Maybe do some professional skills development, catch up on industry news, meditate???
this sounds like the next group prime to be layed off; i hear the chainsaw now!
OP, you not doing anything any different than rest of year? I was thinking no one does any work in your group
@pjg Just imagine if the dev and prod teams could actually change stuff without breaking things.
I wish they would assign the 2022 training in December so I can get that fantastic learning experience out of the way.
I loooooooove the change freeze window. No deployments to break apps! Can actually be productive and get things done, rather than scramble and fix all the time.
loi+1ezDnjPn... true but seriously not fulfilling at all!
That's typical for this time of year. What slows down a lot of people is that practically IT and others go on a moratorium.
Those of us drowning don't have a lot of compassion for you... at all...
