Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is carryover PTO paid out if you quit in 2022, or lost?

I know normal accrued PTO is paid out, does that include carryover PTO if you quit before March 15?

Always use your floating and 2 personal days immediately in the year unless you have to use carry over or lose it by mid March but point is, use the floating and personal first to cushion the potential accrued more in case you leave or get axed by chuckles

Any accrued pto is paid out, so yes your carry over qualifies. Make sure to use your personal days and community service- those are not

IT will be donated to Tech given all the impact they've seen this year.

You get paid all accrued, unused PTO. Period. Carryover from last year plus whatever accrues before you quit this year. As already pointed out, of course you won't get any part of the unaccrued amount.

Yes, you get paid for rollover pto days in your last paycheck. Make sure you take your floating holidays. Those are accrued on 1/1 but do not get paid out if you leave.

Once accrued it cannot be revoked. Any carry over you have in 2022, plus any 2022 PTO you accrue, will be paid to you as long as your last day is before the PTO loss date (mid-March).

Check the article online for what the March date in 2022 is, it depends on what day of week pay periods fall.

Look it up in the Employee Handbook! It is prorated if you quit part way through the year, and if you have already taken more than you have accrued by your last day, you will be required to pay back any taken, but un-accrued PTO. Been this way for eons.

Use it and then quit! Better safe than sorry 😞
