CL - Lets talk about it

Never figured out the whole dang CL. Always smelt funny like the "Stuff They Don't Want You To Know" sorta scheme.

What are the salary ranges for CL 23-30? What could someone making $100k as a new hire expect to make 10,15,20 years from now?

CL Salary Ranges
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/197gfq0m or @197gfq0m
I’ve heard from several people who have left that the money is better elsewhere. I am an experienced hire in 2018. I’m a CL 28, with a salary of $202,500 and no bonus.

Lower CL Salary ranges
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/18qm9oLC or @18qm9oLC
I’ve seen a lot of discussion on here about CLs and salary, however the discussion is always about higher CLs, say mid 20s to 30. I’m curious if anyone could shed some light on the lower CL salary ranges. Say 17-20. I’m a 17 or 18 but I can’t get a straight answer, plus when I asked what the salary ranges and caps were for those levels I was told it doesn’t matter. I’ve been with the company about 10 years, I’m early 30s, no college degree. Just curious what I can expect salary wise over the next few years.

CL verification - how to?
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/17ZFiaDJ or @17ZFiaDJ
Anybody knows where you can find your CL (classification level) in company systems like EDA? Just like you have a payslip to verify salary. My company (FandL) does not post promotion announcements so I can’t use that.

Average CL level at 10th year
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/19tMhXv5 or @19tMhXv5
Is it normal or average that an employee has only 2 promotions by the 10th year? Have been told I am in top 3rd for many years but I seem to be lagging behind many peers of same YOS...

Final CL for an “average” career
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1dpywQwt or @1dpywQwt
There’s been a lot of talk here about CL 30 by age 30 if you want a high flying career. But I’m wondering what the “average” end-of-career CL looks like for someone who is good/not great but manages to make it 30 years in EMRE/GP type career paths. I was under the impression most people topped out in the high 20s. Is that about right?

YEE Milestones?
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1b4xe5vL or @1b4xe5vL
Does anyone have insight into YEE-related career milestones?
CL promotion eligibility by YEE for different levels and assessment groups for MPTs (starting from CL22 or CL23 in the US, for example)?
YEE when they start to drop potential if you’re not getting the right roles?
