I’ve seen a lot of discussion on here about CLs and salary, however the discussion is always about higher CLs, say mid 20s to 30. I’m curious if anyone could shed some light on the lower CL salary ranges. Say 17-20. I’m a 17 or 18 but I can’t get a straight answer, plus when I asked what the salary ranges and caps were for those levels I was told it doesn’t matter. I’ve been with the company about 10 years, I’m early 30s, no college degree. Just curious what I can expect salary wise over the next few years.

@1xgs, non-exempt admin positions are in the 17-18 range. It is my understanding this tops off at 17 in GSC, 18 in Corp.
Expect less than 6 figures most of not all your career at that CL. If you’re below 20 you won’t get above 20 without converting to EMPT. Need a degree for that or a senior manager that really likes you
CL below 20 is an OCA employee.
Wheee can supervisors find this info? They were left out of salary planning (no raises) this year. Is it on a system like Career connect for them to pull?
I’ll be honest, I didn’t know CLs went below like 21. What types of positions are in the 17-20 that you mentioned?
You should ask about your compa-ratio. With that info, you can calculate the mid-point, and max (which I think is ~1.3 of mid-point).
Your supervisor will tell you where you are relative to your CL salary midpoint. Get a handle on a few other mid points above you and you will see the trend. I've seen CL 27 without a degree for Sr Operations Mgrs, that's about it. More realistic potential is maybe 23 or 24.
Over the next few years pretty much expect to not keep up with inflation. In other words you will make less each year until raises return.
HR policy is for supervisors to not disclose ranges so best bet is to just ask people to share ballpark numbers. Find someone ahead of you in experience and ask. Don’t expect raises anytime soon though.
Gladsdoor is very accurate, FYI
