I’d like to know how I can get ranked high enough to get RSUs!
Could you please post the IPO's phone number?
I was fortunate to receive dividends from RSUs last year before termination of employment but have not received a W2, despite updating my address and forwarding mail.
Thank You!
Sorry, 60+ RGP...
You need to be 60+ RGB to get RSUs.
CL27 this year. Zero RSU. Boss never even mentioned it. Some shares vested this month...sold them as soon as they hit my Computershare account. –> time to cash out!
If you awarded RSU this year for RGP 80, will you be guaranteed awarded RSU again next year? Or you will receive only when in RGP 80 next year?
RSU is Restricted stock. Half vest in 3 years and the other half vests in 7 years. You get the income from dividends as cash. They target 10 to 15% of compensation for CL 26/27. But only upper quintiles receive RSU. CL 28/29 get 300 to 500 Shares. Obviously the value of RSU is down because of stock price. If you quit or get terminated, they may not allow you to keep the unvested shares. Over time the unvested shares accumulate and make it harder for a competitor to recruit you because they have to buy-out your unvested shares. For example After 5 years of getting 500 sh per year...about 2000 sh are unvested, at 50/sh...nearly 100k of shares are unvested. If you quit, you lose these. You are also receiving nearly 7000 per year in dividends. on RSU. It acts like a Golden handcuff to retain top performers. And keeps them aligned with shareholders on protecting the dividend
@1zfl, I am not a PIP , I retired last year. With regards to the oil and gas industry and XOM stock performance...it went up 50% in 8 years from Jan 2009 to November 2016. In 2016/ early 2017, XOM stock was trading at around $90 when oil price was below $50. My point is what we think is not true, our support for a certain political party really doesn’t help the this industry.
You don't say. Exxon stock was doing better at >$100/bbl than today $50. Are these novel thoughts that got @lnv+16yvYWwN PIP'd?
What’s the formula for determining RSU grants? A certain CL coupled with an “outstanding” performance assessment?
XOM has still been outperformed by Chevron for the last 10 years
Oil and gas was doing much better 10 years ago. XOM stock performed much better during that time 2009 - 2016. Just look it up.
I was CL 26 and got zero RSU’s
CL 26 RGP 80 = 160
CL 27 RGP 80 = 200
CL 28 RGP 80 = 300
CL 28 RGP 60 = 200
I’m a CL27 and I get zero RSU’s
Lower CL like 26 gets about 160 to 200 units last year
That post was somehow distorted. I believe the poster is referring to restricted stock units.
I could be wrong but hmm the payer is referring to restricted stock units.
