Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Cruise ships take many more precautions than WFC will for RTO and yet….

My point is that if you gather many people in a tight space - where we are all together for long periods of time, eating together, using the same bathrooms, breathing each other’s air for 8 hours every day, going out into the world and coming back together time and time again: people are going to catch and spread Covid.

It is still not safe to force RTO, even with the best of precautions.

@1khw+1eosGjVJ has no idea what they're talking about.

Yes, you can get sick after being vaxxed.

No, you are not more likely to get sick if you are vaxxed.

That flies in the face of science and common sense.

@1khw+1eosGjVJ is just making stuff up to scare people.

The FaceBook algorithm is not a doctor.

You will not get as sick if you're vaxxed.

SMFH.

All passengers were vaccinated. 77% of new cases are in vaccinated persons. Im so over this. Now they tell you opps! Sorry! First 2 vaccinations didnt work now you need a booster. In 2 months they will say you need another booster. Eventually if you want any semblance of an immune system you will need a jab every month.

Well then - get your happy a-s in there. I’m sure you’re one off those who suck up better in person.

They have to give you 30 days before returning and I'd hazard a guess that the email will arrive today or tomorrow telling us that it's being pushed again. There is no point in getting worked up about something you have no control over.

The fact of the matter is that the ki---r portion of the pandemic has pretty much passed us by, ESPECIALLY if you're vaxed. Some people will get a virus whether strain 1, 2 or 3. But not expected to be a ki---r contraction and that is how Wells is viewing this IMHO. The last, 3, is quite mild but uber contagious even if you're vaxed and boosted.

Typical manager response, with no idea of what is happening in the real world where both parents work and have children and elderly relatives to care for. Come down from your privileged Ivory Tower and recognize that most employees need to plan more than a few days in advance.

Wells Fargo management definitely not known for making excellent decisions.

They always act like a deer caught in headlights:

“What? It’s bad to file Whistleblowers?”
“What? The Regulators are actually going to enforce their deadlines?”
“What? I thought there WAS a very limited pool of black talent to recruit from?”
“What? Planning RTO right after the Holidays doesn’t make sense? Well golly gee!!”

It's 20 days before we have to go back as things stand - there's plenty of time for that to change. Enjoy Christmas and worry about it next year.

“Why are you assuming you'll be sent back in the middle of a new wave of infections?”

Because, so far, Wells Fargo has not backed down from their RTO date of 1/10/22. It doesn’t take a brain surgeon to notice the alarming trend and make the decision/ announcement now.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? Where does the OP say, or even imply, he/she thinks they are important?

I agree with this post, and wish someone would state it this simply (and non-politically) to the Executives.

Why are you assuming you'll be sent back in the middle of a new wave of infections? Do you not think it's more likely that RTO will be cancelled sometime in the next 20 days as things play out? The only option any of us has is to do as we're told or leave and despite how important you think you are, there's around 300,000 other people that feel the same.
