Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Vaccination status

Anyone not provide it? They say they consider you unvaccinated And you will test weekly and they send email after the deadline saying that you are unvaccinated and auto enrolled into testing pgm. But still gotten two emails asking for the status again. I don’t know the terms and agreement I’m signing let alone the test or ingredients or country of origin.

None of those "alternatives" will get you out of the jab, with the exception of winning the lottery, though at some point even that will be required in order to claim winnings. Those who wish to retain any form of autonomy must make a stand now or there will never be a second chance. Once you submit once it's over. You won't be allowed to do it again because the first instance will be used as proof that "you're not opposed to it". If 35 jabs later you have a heart attack, you won't be allowed to say no to 36. Maybe if you renounce your citizenship and leave the country, but will you be allowed to travel internationally without another booster? Probably not. So this is it, you either have control of your body now or you never will again. Choose wisely.

You don't need to choose between being vaxxed or be tested, there is a third option, and good news, there are options within that option.

Don't work here anymore.

Find another job, start your own business, win the lottery, marry some rich person, maybe start a life of crime.

Homeless people don't need to choose between vaxin' or testin'.

Everything in life comes with options. Some people here don't seem to understand that and want to find loopholes or game the system.

Just make your choice and life with the consequences.

OP is spreading fear and misinformation, he/she/they got it from Doctor FaceBook.

Folks, do whatever you like, but be honest, if you don't want testing/vaxxed they don't hide it.

And then cowboy/cowgirl/cowthey up and accept the consequences of your choices.

And if you won't get tested for whatever made up reason you read on FaceBook, ditto for getting vaxxed, at least show some respect for your fellow Americans and wash your hands, give people some room, wear a mask when needed, and be nice about it.

Stay safe everyone, and let's all make a New Year's resolution to abandon this site for any post that says anything other than "I have info about f'ing layoffs".

Wells Fargo actually has an option to request an accommodation for testing and another option to request an accommodation for vaccines. It is difficult to find on the internal websites, but the options are there under accommodations.

It may also be helpful to search the internal sites for Religious Accommodation.

This is the category that Wells Fargo has the objections filed under. (They are also filed under Medical Accommodation.). Remember, though, that Religious Accommodation also includes “…reason of personal conscience” that may not be directly related on any religion. It can be related to personal practice.

File for an accommodation. File for both the testing and vaccine accommodations to be thorough. If possible, submit it in the next few days or before 2022 begins.

…Good Luck, My Friend…

My suggestion: Forward the email to RTO Planning and cc your manager, and then say: I am unable to complete the form since I cannot agree to the testing requirement. Please provide a different option.

The decline to answer was an option in the original survey. With the most recent one, you either select yes or no to the vaccination question. If you select no, then the only way to submit the form is if you check the box to agree to routine testing.

HR isn’t talking to ER (or even HR in some cases). The system tied to the vaccination portal doesn’t communicate with the system tied to accommodations. What they need to do is add another option that says an accommodation request is pending.

You could try going the route of emailing RTO Planning, however after repeating the same thing over and over, they will eventually refer you to HR Services and Support. When you start a chat through the chat link on that site, they will recommend contacting RTO Planning…

For those of you who aren’t objecting to testing based on religious reasons, I wonder what other grounds might be considered. Is it discriminatory to require testing from one group, even when both groups can get and spread Covid? Is there a solution that would not cause undue hardship for Wells Fargo?

I think the goberment should force all people to get the Vaxx! But first we need to get ride of that pesky Nuremberg Code. The 10 points of this code are just plain selfish.

No worse than the cold? Sure, that's why the federal government has sent doctors and nurses and the National Guard to Michigan.

Is all that cognitive dissonance painful?

@qsh+1empwa5g you are correct that it is not a law but a mandate. Wells is among too many companies sheepishly going along in knee jert style and affording those calling the mandates more power than they may or should have. Wells would not break any laws by simply allowing people back in the office and not doing any thing about covid. That said, Wells should follow mandates, assuming they are actually mandated, and by the correct overseer body or person of jurisdiction. But because it is not a law, they do not need to enforce it. This whole mandate over Wells and other companies needs to be researched. Many politicians are feeling and behaving like Kings and Queens.

Oh my fu----g god. Eventually this virus will likely be no more serious than the flu. And we'll likely have annual shots we can take that's a best guess on the current variants.

We are not there yet. It's a new ("novel") coronavirus, and we're in the midst of a pandemic. Now, be a freaking patriot and vaccinate.

I wonder how many of y'all would have said, "Can't make me!" during WWII.

Dear @hdo+1empwa5g,
All of you "let's do this safely" and "we're all in this together" jackholes have no clue about privacy and personal liberty. Catching Omicron is looking like nothing more than a common cold daily and I sure as sh-t don't want to be in an office with people who are so filled with hate and rage that they welcome the government allowing their employer to fire someone they disagree with.

For those who are saying "just comply", what is your line? Do you have a line? Pfizer announced yesterday that they are preparing an "endemic" manufacturing line for COVID vaccines, meaning they will roll out a new vaccine annually from here on out. If WF makes annual or semi-annual vaccines a requirement, will you comply then? What if they start requiring the flu shot as well and proof that you've taken it? What about other medical procedures or treatments? Opposing medical tyranny should be in everyone's interest and has nothing to do with your opinion of the vaccine itself or even your vaccination status. The Smallpox epidemic didn't even have such far reaching vaccine mandates, and it ki---d 30% of the people it infected. Widespread vaccine mandates were considered tyrannical, and making them a general condition for employment or participation in the economy was unthinkable. Yes, there were mandates for healthcare workers, military and some others, but there were significant limits. This isn't smallpox. It really isn't. You have a 99.997% chance of surviving if you are infected with COVID in most age groups, even lower if you don't have comorbidities. 80% of infections are asymptomatic and don't even know they have it. We should be treating and containing it for the high risk portions of the population rather than chasing after it with a weak and leaky vaccine that doesn't even prevent infection or spread (according to the CDC director), and loses 60% of its effectiveness after 6 months.

Doesn't really matter what the circuit courts say, some said ya, some said nay, but either way it was going to the SCOTUS. Both sides had appeals to the high court already ready to go. The 6th decision has already been appealed. Now the SCOTUS gets to decide if we live in a dictatorship or if precedent and the 10th Amendment mean what they say.

Got an email from 2 down from Charlie Scharff saying I have been emailed multiple times and the deadline was 12/4 to respond. I have until Monday 12/20 to respond. It was sent to a blind list of us, and our HR rep was visibly copied. Not sure who was Bcc’d if anyone. I’m still debating if this is worth the risk of losing my 20 year job over, but I know Wells Fargo will hand the list to the govt on request if they aren’t already openly sharing it, and our govt has proven they can not be trusted with this this subject. The govt is likely using this as a back door to a national vaccine registry. From what I have read Wells Fargo is acting legally, but the ethics here are flat wrong. There is no need for me to answer this question for Wells Fargo to be able to operate safely. If I don’t respond, just treat me as unvaxxed. Probably time to self employ...

A Biden administration rule that requires workers at companies with 100 or more employees to be vaccinated against Covid or undergo weekly testing is back on.

The 6th Circuit Court of Appeals lifted a stay on the rule Friday evening. The rule was blocked on Nov. 6, just one day after it was formally issued by the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

I have not responded. The question on the survey tricks you into giving consent to testing and validating that they can take your right to medical privacy. There are no carve outs or exceptions for people who do not wish to disclose their test results to the company. If you respond, you're waiving your rights. Full time telecommuters with no reason to go into an office ever should have no business reason to consent to testing. Employees who work in an office but prefer not to disclose their personal test results should be given the right to their medical privacy and accommodated as appropriate. It's not consent if it's mandatory. If you don't have bodily autonomy in the eyes of your employer, what do you have?

“Fir” relates to a tree. Just use the correct word, “For.”

To answer your question, if you do not complete the form or survey, they will not just record you as unvaccinated.

This is what the email said, but Wells Fargo does not even follow its own procedures.

They said something similar the last time for the COVID surveys. They did not just record the non-responders as unvaccinated as the email said.

Instead, they sent the survey 3 or 4 additional times to non-responders then sent their managers notices until they finally responded.

For some, the two-up manager had to email the non-responders and tell them to respond.

This will likely be the case this time as well.

They will just continue contacting you and your leadership until you respond. They will not just record you as unvaccinated.

Post ID: @nat+1empwa5g

There is no option to decline this time.

There are only two options: Upload the vaccine card or indicate that you are not vaccinated with the added clause “AND” you agree to testing.

If you select unvaccinated, the clause about agreeing to test is connected.

It is very sneaky.

The lawyers probably had them to word it that way.

Ok... But if it's an at home test, you just discard it when you're done. Is the government going to collect your trash to get your DNA after? If so, couldn't they just do the same with the discarded water bottle or apple in your trashcan?

No decline to answer. It’s required and if you’re say no you must click you agree to testing. Sp-t test collets dna look it up. Shield testing. These are for unvaccinated only. Swabs do contain chemicals but that’s a conspiracy theory.

by
| | Reply
Post ID: @yop+1empwa5g

Also testing isn't going to put chemicals in your body. If you're concerned about a nasal swab having something hidden in it to insert things in your body... Try a sp-t test? Nothing is being put in your body with a sp-t test.
