They are prepared to close you or hand off to indirect. Youre not irreplaceable at all, even in this world there are answers. They are not a fan of corporate stores. Look at Victra. Can't tell a difference. On purpose.
Put me on 60 days leave and the rest of our store because we aren't getting it. And they won't fill our positions for 2 months. So what happens then? Store closes for 2 months? We are prepared to hold out.
Honesty if it comes down to the photo finish I will get the jab and then leave Verizon shortly after. Really the only reason to stay as a vet right now is not getting the jab. If you get the jab a wider scope of prospective jobs opens up. Why would you stay with big red when you could go to Xfinity or TMobile and actually get paid for your efforts. However lots of jobs aren't required jabs but it will another job that much easier.

SCOTUS has ruled thar private companies can mandate vaccine to employees, however, not OSHA or any federal agency nor an executive order. It will go down in flames but many will lose jobs or get vax in the interim while tied up in courts. Biden still wins.
Losing one rep...just one in any given store creates a mess. If Verizon is going to enforce the vaccine protocol for stores they better have a plan to fill those spots. I’m already at my wits end this past year with unrealistic expectations and working short handed.

This exact court of sitting justices have heard 18 state cases so far and has upheld the mandates in every single on of them. Get vaxxed or quit and let us hire folks who will, stop wasting time… oh, and good luck finding another cush job where all you do is whine about lunches and old systems of commission
How are people still allowing this? More deaths in 2021 from covid and we had vaccines this year. We are never going to make it. At least the clown shoe Dems have sealed their fate for future elections.
Everyone that wants to be vaxxed has been. Do they really think that the remaining 20% of people who haven't taken the shot is going to make any difference? Look at the NFL, NBA and NHL, they are at 97%-100% vaccinated and having to cancel games because so many players are out with Covid. It's pretty clear this isn't about health or safety anymore. When does it end?
One last chance in the Supreme Court. Already indicated will back it though. Fingers crossed.
