Has anyone else noticed they quietly eliminated STAR assignments? It’s a shame, this was a great way to get cross-company exposure and diversify your resume while extending your severance benefits. If we’re trying to become a more collaborative and inclusive company, eliminating the STAR program seems like a pretty major strategic miss.

This was ki---d off at least 6 months ago. They don't want people to stick around. I put in tons of applications internally during the "non" working period and no bites. I feel like you're just on a blacklist after getting laid off.
Generally yes, but there is some working notice in some scenarios. Depends on them group and the practicalities.
Saul actually said STAR did not work with the new HR system so they stopped it.
They're not going to to STAR assignments if their goal is to reduce staff in many areas to address things like span of control. Heck, they're not even doing 30 day working, 30 day non-working. You get let go, you're out the door.
Star program was retired a while back. They aren't wanting to re-home the layoffs anymore.
Yep. Likely the result of wanting to be rid of the old guard, good or bad they don't really seem to care. If you're a longtimer you're 'part of the problem'.
