Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Next layoff is…

Does anyone know? This is getting boring. I guess it’s got to be after they get workday rolled out, but would they really do it before bonuses? Does that mean we have to wait until February?!?

Looks like Wells is doing away with Salary Continuation Pay, you still get benefits and paycheck, and going for traditional Severance Package in 2022. One lump sum. I see mass layoff’s a coming.

Our salespeople are making their quotas so I don't worry about being let go.

Old HR system could not handle mass layoffs sounds like it will take them a while to figure out new one.

Sounds like they are waiting on the new HR system to come online, the post 401K match/bonus exodus & then they will reevaluate their cut lists.

My speculation which is just like everyone else's on this board, no mass layoffs for two months. That gives them a chance to weed out all the TMs that will not rto, or roughly 3%.

if you get laid between now and Feb you will get your bonus. if you leave on your own or get fired you will not

Maybe things have changed now, but i got laid off in December once and I still got my bonus paid out because I had a working notice period followed by a non-working notice period where I was still on payroll before my severance even kicked in. Of course this was long before the Jamie Dimon disciples posse took over so who knows how it works now.

After bonuses makes sense if they think bunches of people are waiting for bonuses to bounce, bonuses being cheaper than severance for most people I’d assume.

We've had some all hands calls where they discuss workforce and location strategy for next year but nothing definite. Common sense would say wait until after RTO and bonus payouts and see who is left after that although someone mentioned Jan 25th yesterday. Who knows?
