Make sure you have a tote with either a good handle or hand holds as you'll need to carry it in and out each and everyday as there are no permanent desk assignments.

I plan on bringing no less than 3 large rolling suitcases with me into the office to make sure I have all of my particulars no matter where I'm forced to sit that day. I'll spend the first hour each morning creating a thoughtful arrangement of my cat photos, 2 desk lamps, WF 10 years of service award, pin banner, and various useless awards to make sure I'm poised to be as productive and focused as possible. After logging in, I'll take a break to get coffee and surveil the local "neighborhood" for any rule breakers or potential threats, following my safety brochure to watch for any "dry runs" or te------t activity since I'm not familiar with this aisle. I'll closk out about a half hour before lunch to change into my walking shoes and track suit before taking a few laps around the perimeter. Don't worry I had room for my rain coat and umbrella in case it's raining. After lunch I'll have time to check email for about 30 minutes before starting the laborious tear-down process of my workstation, zen garden, aromatherapy candle, troll doll collection, and tin foil hat to be packed back into the various baggage compartments before it's time to leave. And no, I'm not the office supply thief I just happen to need a duffel full of post-its in case we have an emergency brainstorming meeting. By that time its about 4-430 and my day is over as I'll need multiple trips to get each crate down the elevator and into the car.
Great idea. I plan on bringing in my 5, 10, and 15 year cubes each day. Along with my family pictures, sheet of pins i’ve acquired, the plaque i made when i became a VP, name badge on outside of cube, back support pillow, little fan for my feet, and the two clocks i’ve received as rewards from past mergers. I figure it will take about 30 minutes of setup and another 30 minutes of takedown each day.
Just remember, this is how much the company respects you and your contribution.

They are wanting groups to discuss amongst each other and plan as needed. Nothing guarantees you'll have a spot.

drawers and lockers are shared too, you have to take it with you when you go.
Whatever fits a large size bottle of lysol and clorox wipes as you have to supply your own materials to wipe down said hotel cube....oh and rubber gloves....
Why a tote? Pad, pen, paper, laptop.
You don’t need a dozen picture frames, a library of books, mountains of snacks, communal candy bowls, lamps, and so on.

All of these alleged rules have very wide spread exceptions. Not surprised that the "no assigned desks" rule does. I mean, if whole groups are exempt from the travel ban for unvaccinated employees, what rule does apply to everyone?

Total B.S. that some get dedicated desks and others don't when we all come in 3 days per week. So the unassigned have to hose down everchanging desks with bleach morning and night and others don't. What a joke.

Best way is a good laptop backpack. After awhile you’ll care way more about function than fashion.
