Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Wells Fargo Incubator

So Wells Fargo has decided to become the incubator for the next fu----g COVID variant by forcing everyone back into the over crowded petri dishes they call offices. Another stellar decision by Chuckie to further overwhelm health care systems and prolong this damn epidemic. But if he can ki-l some of his employees off he’ll get his attrition and his bonus. What a pathetic excuse for a human. I hope he rots in he-l with all the buddies he brought with him to enable this cr-p.

While I am not worried about RTO, I can also see why folks afraid to come in to the office since I have personally seen how nasty our compatriots are.

Wiping boogers on the restroom wall, missing the toilets completely, and those that do not feel compelled to wash their hands after tearing it up in one of the stalls.

Pro-Tip: Wash your hands thoroughly, and don't touch anything. :)

We're all in this together, and keep your stick on the ice.

@kcn+1eiwzhK3 Then it's time for you to quit WFC and find a more suitable job to your liking!

Nope. Death is a fact of life. I’ve already lost loved ones at a much younger age due to viruses and the policies.

LOL You guys are so pathetic, get your acts straight and set your minds to RTO!

@jbd+1eiwzhK3 - Normalcy doesn’t come from prolonging the pandemic by pretending it doesn’t exist. Everyone should do their part, large corporations included.

OP, I am pretty sure you don't want to go back to the office anymore. If ever the RTO gets pushed another month, you will be saying the same thing again after that. Your solution is to find another job that suits you best. Don't drag down WFC just for you, because many of us are actually tired of this pandemic and want normalcy back.

You're being downvoted but it's true. It's currently at about 1/5 to maybe 1/4 of our workforce that is not vaccinated.

Hopefully, they will change the testing requirements to 3-4 times a week to accommodate the 2 days/3 days hybrid schedule.

That should do it.

I can't believe some people still compare COVID to cancer or car accidents or whatever other cause of death.

Is cancer contagious? Car crashes?

Yeah, about 40,000 people die a year from the flu, at least before 2020, but we've lost 800,000 Americans since the end of 2019, and a few million worldwide.

Forget comaring apples to organges, the anti-science crowd is comparing apples to elephants.

Some people don't know how vaccines work, even though they've been vaccinated since childhood.

You'd think they'd look it up.

Vaccines teach your body how to fight the virus.

It's not bulletproof, but it's far better than actually getting and spreading the virus, and possibly getting really sick or getting someone else really sick.

George Washington quarantined and immunized his troops one year, long ago, a bit of US history we were all taught but some folks have forgotten.

All the folks on the cable news channels are vaxxed, and they wear masks in the building, they have it posted on the front door, so stop by if you're in the area and check it out.

We know more about how viruses work now, but we've known the dangers and some tricks for staying safe for a few hundred years now.

Some people just want 46 to fail and some people just want to believe in giant conspiracies, because it makes them feel special, like they know things other people don't, secrets, but they don't.

Stay safe everyone.

It's nowhere close to 50% unvaxxed. Current reporting puts it closer to 15-20% unvaxxed.

Good for you if you got your booster, how about the other 100,000 employees?
Super spreader event indeed.

I'm current, and so is most of my team. Boosters too. Personally, my children and family are all current as well.

“The vax is strength training for your immune system.”

This is false for this vaccine and is pure propaganda. Is that you, Bei?

Not true, it's on Teamworks. Current definition is that you've received both shots (or one if J&J) and have proof.

Can’t wait to see how they handle the next booster since nobody is really considered ‘fully vaccinated’ unless all booster shots have been received.

They don't give a sh-t until that 80 year old is one of theirs. I call it the Rand Paul Effect.

Deadly for 80+ year olds. We’ve done all this to make sure they die of something else besides Covid. Cancer, flu, heart disease, diabetes are all acceptable causes.

The vax is strength training for your immune system.

Vaccines teach your natural defenses to fight the virus.

They are not force fields, they are one tool of many, including washing your hands, wearing a mask when needed, giving people some room, and avoiding large indoor crowds.

COVID has been 10 or more times as deadly as the common flu, so be safe, and know your sources.

Natural immunity is great except for the getting COVID part, so think when people say things like that.

You don't just get COVID, you spread it while you have it.

@gmk+1eiwzhK3 - Vax doesn’t prevent COVID, just lessens the symptoms, if you’re lucky.

There is zero chance that COVID will make a significant impact on head count. It hasn't in the last 18 months and there's no evidence that will change.

It gets better! Some of us have to take public transit to get to our petri dishes and will be exposed to shudder who knows what all day. Will Chuckles be taking the subway? I know the answer and I’ll see myself out, thanks.
