Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Twice a week testing for unvaccinated employees

I thought they said it would be weekly testing but it’s 2x a week preferably Monday & Wednesday. So healthy people have to test two times a week? What nonsense is this.

One of the biggest problems here is the timing. Let's say an "unvaxed" person decides to get the first shot. They are still considered "unvaxed" and have to wait a month to receive the follow-up vax. Soon they will announce the (first) booster is needed to be considered vaxed. That cannot happen until six months AFTER the second shot. So now we will be talking EIGHT MONTHS (you have to wait two weeks after the (first) booster) to be considered fully vaccinated. This will be ongoing for the foreseeable future and more and more people will fall into the "not fully vaxed" category. Testing will eventually be in EVERYONE's future.

I've been saying it, because I know the plan but keep getting downvoted- once the period of free tests ends, you'll test on site or at an approved place. Time spent waiting in line or for those test resultss won't count as work time because it's considered a condition of employment. Reducing wages out of unvaxed to make it harder on them is the plan.

Do it. Employers often do credit checks now too.

Excellent!

This will weed out the poorer employees!

Management has got this!

Those of us left will slow roll the rest.

Some people just want to watch the world burn. Especially me.

WF is not covering the cost of the tests. The unvaccinated are. And those who are vacccinated aren't the lionshare of those being put on ventilators or dying, the UNvaccinated are (read the studies). The vaccine protects people from that horror. So basically the antivaxxers CAUSE horror to many and then experience it themselves. Funny how that works. SMH.

They will auto deduct test costs from your paycheck.

It is certainly interesting.........

well, the mask has slipped, and they are tightening the screws. next up, people will have to pay for the tests. Let's see, $117.00 per test, twice a week($234.00), 4 times a
month($936.00), so basically a $1000 premium per month.

Can swing that until match and bonus time. Then I can walk away, including defaulting on my credit card(well, bankruptcy) with a $28,000 balance.

It'll work out.

You probably have to film yourself doing the test.

@1oip+1eejpf3f, The “jab” protects me just fine, thank you very much. Did you happen to look up the ingredients in Ivermectin (horse dewormer) before you introduced it to your body?

@1oip So I guess you call vaccinated folks “jabbed”? Well I call the unvaccinated “d-mb mother f**kers”!

They will be mailing home kit rapid tests to your house. It’s pretty pathetic that the jabbed aren’t having to test as they can come to work with covid and infect. It’s complete nonsense. The jab doesn’t protect you lol. Any of you jabbed people look up the ingredients before you shot up? Or did you just trust the government. Two weeks to flatten the curve, get jabbed no mask, get another booster.

On site testing will be ramped up. It’s considered a condition for employment, so testing is done before the clock starts. 3 hr line means you’re working 3 hours later, using PTO, or taking the hit for those unworked hours. Don’t think they aren’t going to make that as uncomfortable and painful as they can. Until that’s ready, you’ll have to go to a testing site to get confirmed testing and also show results, where it will be checked for fraud or dishonest workarounds.

How are they planning to check/administer these tests? Do you test when you get to the office? Before you get to the office and bring the little strip with you showing you’re negative? This seems like a total cr-p shoot, waste of time, and a waste of valuable testing resources that could be better spent in areas that actually need it (i.e., not to make some NYC exec feel like he has control over all his employees’ lives).

No, unvaccinated people have to test. Buck up, get jabbed or get tested. It's simple.

They don’t want to get sued by anybody unfortunate enough to come into contact with you.

That’s it. That’s all. CYA.

They changed their minds, or flat out lied. They have lied about other things, so not surprising that they lied about this too.

That’s 12 work days in office a month and 8 tests a month. It was supposed to one a week.
