According to Google, "Low Income" is in the range of $66 to $85k. Therefore "Middle Class" would start at $86k.
Where "Upper Class" starts? No idea. Not something that I'll ever see.
I guess I'm "Upper Lower Class".

$50 - $70K is typical middle class. Virtually all of our workers at Wells, particularly those of us in he Bay Area are upper class. The real estate increases alone in the past few years make it easy for any of us to sell out, move and live a life that few in the history of the world have enjoyed.

$150k is rich where I live/work. But compared to other places our average minimum wage is $13 an hour around here. Most of my coworkers and I are making low 40k's.
It depends where you live.

In big cities, I think 100k-400k household income makes you a middle class. In smaller cities 80k- 300k perhaps.
if you make 250K and spend 300K then you will be "poor class"-so the point is, it all depends.
Depends on location. 50k gets you a long way in a smaller rural town, and won't get very much in a large city.
