Is there an exception process, i missed this on the signing up. Is there some sort of qualifying event i could make up so i can add it? Help me out bros

Fun fact, if you use all your FSA funds at the beginning of the year and then leave, they can’t force you to repay it. But that’s what the forfeited funds pay for.
Have your spouse join a job temporarily. That's a life event.
I forgot to sign up during open enrollment and contact HR and they were able to process it for me back in mid December.
you could pay attention to all the emails next time around about open enrollment. as for what you can do now, search HR for qualifying events and if you meet one of those give HR a call
I know back is 2020 due to covid they allowed you tonl sign up for fsa after the fact but now sure of that is still in place.
I zeroed mine out for the first time in my 20ish years here because I plan on leaving this cesspool post haste.
It’s really not that great of a benefit anymore…ever since they combined the HRA and the FSA accounts onto one credit card I had a complete nightmare with charges being allocated to the wrong place and having to provide receipts and now Explanation of Benefit statements that I never had before. Not worth the minuscule tax savings. Even had to pay something back because I could not get the receipt in the format I needed from the online pharmacy. Forget it…took me hours on the phone to try and straighten out the mess.
Nope and even a former CEO of WFA who forgot to sign up for medical couldn't get an exception...he went a year without medical coverage...

I don’t know about sign up but you can change your elections by calling HR. Might be a good start
