What are the chances we're looking at another major round of layoffs after Friday? It wouldn't be the first time for layoffs to follow an earnings report. I know we're supposed to see some improvements, but that never stopped them before so I don't see why it would stop them now.

Why can’t tech just go away. Who uses computers outside of work anyway.
No more layoffs. Great bank with a culture of recognition and respect.
Most publicly traded companies use earnings to announce layoffs. It helps bump up stock price.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 No layoffs
If you are talking about layoffs then you have no clue that LOBs have already been funded for 2022. The plan for 2022 was approved with headcount targets. Any layoff would come out of left field from the OC.
March will probably be a big target.
High. Layoffs and forced retirements will come hard and fast between now and May 1.
Just gave my 2 weeks today. Feels liberating. Now time to rest up and pursue my next move.
I hope so. Still way too much deadweight lying around
I heard tech is affected.
There are huge numbers of people out every day right now after testing pos. My guess is, mass layoffs will be on hold until the surge passes. Doesn't mean some small scale stuff won't happen though.
I doubt we do any layoffs prior to bonus payouts. With so much voluntary attrition across the country right now (all companies), I would think we pay bonuses, then wait for dust to settle with a wave of retirements / voluntary quits after bonuses clear in bank accounts. Then reassess the numbers.
Try taking an "absence" instead of PTO - maybe they won't find you that way /s
Taking PTO won’t help you. They will find you on PTO! Happened to a friend.
Jan 25, take PTO that day to stay safe.
When is it ok? - when it's me and I don't care what day that happens to be.
When can they layoff? Can't do it after earnings. Can't do it before or near holidays. Can't do it on the third Tuesdays or some other cr-p. When is it ok?
