THE BEST YEAR IN HISTORY

Managers are saying we had the best year in history. The execs are repeating this. But nobody is compensating US for such a great achievement - afterall we are the ones who delivered such a great result... So, if we had the best year in history, who is collecting all the gains that result from such a stellar perormance?

Might have been a good year, but we're still under an asset cap. The only folks who'll get amazing bonuses and raises and promotions are those currently deemed irreplaceable.

PS: No one's irreplaceable, long-term.

There is truth in this. Bonuses are more or less similar to last year, which was cut due to HUGE pandemic hits. Other large banks (I have spoken to folks at both Chase and USB) are getting 50% more in their bonuses, often, vs. a year ago. Is WF offering this? Absolutely not. Are we getting larger than normal raises? No we are not.

Here are sales number for trailing 12 months for last 10 years, reported quarterly.
You'll notice that we had periods where $100B in revenue / year were a norn.
Nowadays we are in a $80B range.
There is anumber of reasons for this but these are not our best years.
See the values here:

I've not heard anyone say anything about the best year in history and seeing as bonuses and pay raises aren't out yet, how do you know that folks aren't being compensated?

Another stupid post.

I haven't heard those words uttered once. Who are you talking about? And who's to say that are aren't already compensated for doing your job?
