Changing sales targets

This is becoming unbearable. What is the problem so the sales goals are constantly changing?
What are the reasons for setting unrealistic expectations?
It's creating a lot of pressure, a lot of frustration. I don't know how to deal with it anymore, except to leave all this. This company is ridiculous.

They're trying to force COR employees out so they can close or sell off those doors. Problem is though, once AR starts feeling the brunt of quotas designed for COR, they will financially suffer and probably close. If you think I'm wrong ask Spring Mobile.

Have been on 2 separate calls and heard that for 2022 the mobility and FirstNet sales quotas are going up 30%+.
For 2021 I question whether most of the mobility CSEs are even hitting their numbers so 2022 has RIF via performance improvement plan written all over it.

T employs more sales channel teams than those who sell phones in retail stores ie., government, wholesale, healthcare, enterprise….corporate customers.
It’s sad that so many of you only live in your own small bubble.
The company employs way more people than just I/R techs, customer service, and retail sales.

Selling phones in retail is not going to save the company. Forcing many technical sales folks leave to save their insurance will hurt T big time.

Welcome to a sales…It is not unusual that sales organizations adjust quotas, metrics, commissions….it’s part of the business of sales. You either adjust or find another line of work.

You can't just show up and get paid. If you don't hit their metrics you get fired.

so ya, when people drive to a retail location to make a purchase - they do it with the intention of getting the goods. When we tell them we have no phones - and we can order them ; we then get told, why would I do that when I can order it at home. The only thing worse than this would be trying to sell them a home security system. At least that got put along side jimmy hoffa.

  3. No fiber to sale
  4. and bosses that only kiss A$$

Our leadership made a lot of bad decisions that have cost the company dearly. They expect us to clean up their mess.
