Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Best / Worst CEO or other major leader, and why?

Please tell. I’m quite curious.

I personally met Sloan after all of his pandering tours, and found him to be a Di-k.

I met Stumpf many times and he now (and should’ve then) resonated high as a fake a-s bi--h.

Lots of people like that Di-k guy on CNBC - I am convinced he started this demise.

The Parker dude was ok when in office. A moody bi--h but he got results.

Chick is the C word. Enough said.

Other thoughts?

RMK started this mess with his “cross-selling” and banking services as a commodity you can sell like screwdrivers. We transitioned from branches to stores under his and Carrie’s watch. John was sweet, but nothing more than a figurehead. His hands-off approach allowed the “run it like you own” it culture to metastasize, and we know how that ended. But he had great hair, a nice smile and a really good origin story: chicken farm, 1 of 11 kids, blah blah. CS is not a warm and fuzzy dude, but he’s surrounded by sycophants who totally tell him what he wants to hear bc once you deliver bad news, you never get rid of the stench, so yeah, WF is still a pile of steaming garbage.

Terrible leadership then and terrible leadership now. They are all in it for themselves, including the Board.

There is a reason why Wells is under an asset cap and cannot get out from under it.
