And I'll bet that the first employee who goes on Loudspeaker! to raise a Credible Challenge regarding the company putting individuals at risk by forcing them back into offices regardless of their vax status will be the first Emergency Termination form in ART for that day...

Yes, tech architecture got the bad news. No idea about others. Would be interesting to know if employees attached to agile teams are first to go back. What’s not going to work is these teams are split up globally. Being on-site sucking in COVID and flu droplets while in virtual meetings is pointless. So is travel to enclosed meetings in locations like Minnesota where the infection rate is astronomical.

Is there anyone who actually would like to return to the office besides the overpaid useless execs?

I'm in the same boat. I live almost 30 miles from my work building. I have two options -

  1. Take a train and have a high chance of being assaulted or robbed by he---n addicts or gangs on my 70 minute trip downtown.
  2. Drive 90 minutes to and from work, pay exorbitant prices to park, and have my car broken into or be assaulted downtown. There are shootings near my site on a monthly basis.

That's 140 minutes I'm unavailable each day, or 180 minutes I'm unavailable each day. And when I get home, the last thing I want to do after fighting through traffic or literally fighting on the train is do any work! I want to see my family or friends.

@psh good luck with your magical argument that has a 100% loss rate so far.

No thanks. I am fully vaxxed, but see no value in RTO: no colleagues, no clients within 300 miles of the assigned location. If I do go into that office, I will be spending my time trying to avoid those other employees, literally like the plague. Given the number of ant-vaxx, anti-mask nuts out there, I'm sure there will be a number of them on site. And I lose two hours a day commuting to do it. What's the point?

You'll be waiting a long time, and probably unemployed while you wait.

So far it's withstood nearly every lawsuit. Republicans voted for corporations to have all of this na--d power and smashed unions or works organizations to bits, but now that you are affected directly you're crying a river or getting all anti-mask Karen about everything. Can't have it both ways bucko.

In the vax survey, I answered that "No, I have not received the jab" and that "I do not plan to receive the jab" (or words to those effect), yet I still received the early return invite this morning.

I'm still waiting for all of this BS to end through huge lawsuits that point out:

  1. having excluded groups in the Biden "mandate" violate the Equal Protections Clause of the 14th Amendment, so therefore the entire mandate is unconstitutional
  2. mandate infringes on states rights as per the 10th Amendment
  3. since only the Pfizer vax has received approval from the FDA, the others are still under the EUA (Emergency Use Authorization), therefore experimental. This violates the Nuremberg Code of 1947.

@esc WOW. 25-50%?!?!? LMAO

You must watch faux news a lot. Most companies that have enforced a mandate have lost much smaller percentages of their workforce. Most people are vaccinated, despite what you think. United Airlines lost 1% or 600 people when they laid off the unvaccinated this year. I think this would help with our attrition “strategy.”

@tdc We dont require customers to vaccinate because WF can’t force them or threaten their job but Im sure theyd love it if they at least wear a mask, seeing this is indicated by the sign on our branch doors. Besides, any place not on a coast has had a high number of customers act like A holes when asked to mask up. That isn’t something we want to do. Especially now that we have lost revenue and customers from scandals.

If you read the fine print, it states the invite applies to employees whose assigned floor is ready for early return

I'm fully vaccinated but I have no interest in going back to the office.

This will not make them cave or change direction. Except maybe to send your job overseas or to a contractor.

I refused to answer the survey and got the invite so it has nothing to do with how you responded. SEND A MESSAGE TO MANAGEMENT AND DON’T SHOW UP. THEY NEED TO SEE WITH THEIR OWN EYES HOW LITTLE INTEREST THEIR EMPLOYEES HAVE IN RTO AND THE OLD WAY OF DOING THINGS. For all you clowns out there saying those that don’t RTO will be fired, you’re clueless. You can’t lose 25-50%+ of your employees and still function as a business. They will have no choice but to cave and allow WFH OR HYBRID.

P.S. the caps were intentional

No masking requirements for fully vaxxed voluntary RTO outside of a vague recommendation to mask when you can't socially distance. Nobody is masking in the office now I assure you...outside of elevators and common space in the lobby.

This arrived today to also give fair warning to anyone not 💉 to get it done by Jan or be fired. Enjoy your Hannukah/Christmas/Kwanza/Festivus y’all!

I would not suggest putting false info into the vaccine tool, ultimately they will likely ask for more info, dates, or supporting documentation, and lying or falsifying anything could be an ethics violation and grounds for firing.

I'm vaccinated, but if I told them I wasn't...would I still be forced back to the office in January?

I think it's based on how you responded to the vaccine survey. If you're fully vaccinated, you get to go back early.
