Yeah people posted here who have a family member that works in a hospital ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and "suffer" along with them as they treat the mostly unvaccinated against Covid ICU patients and speak of how many of them die. Fear of the medical employee and family member contracting Covid from the patients (some were vaccinated against Covid, but most were not I have been informed). My daughter, the ICU unit hospital RN nurse, just left her ICU job treating mostly Covid patients and will now apparently be treating other types of ICU patients at her new $5,000 per WEEK job, such as heart problem patients. Yippee. Hope she continues to save a LOT of ICU hospital patients from their imminent death.

My wife works in ICU and is worn out from taking care of COVID patients the last 18 months. The only ones she gets now are id--ts who won’t get vaccinated. Almost to a person they say they were stupid as they just try to breathe.

Actually, it's the perfect one. Make/model of light switch that has ki---d thousands of people in 2021? Oh that's right, there isn't one. Do some fail? Sure, but not that many and not in that short of a time span. No way in heck they'd still be on the market and no way in heck the manufacturer would have total immunity from liability.

Why does anyone selling a perfectly safe product need that again? And why did the manufacturers know that they needed in advance? Because they KNEW, that's why.

We do not know why some people who get Covid survive, while others do not. Vaccinated can get Covid and still die from it, but usually such have some other health complications going on. Vaccinated can pass Covid to unvaccinated and vice versa. Rather be vaccinated to lessen the chance of ending up in a hospital ICU dying from Covid.

If you are vaccinated, good for you. If someone is not vaccinated, there is likely a very good reason they are not getting it. Remember that, it's none of your business. You are protected, so move on already. Be a good human being.

This already happens. UL Listing does not mean its not prone to accidental issues, catching fire if wired wrong at the endpoint, etc. Lots of poorly made (whether accidental or on purpose) things end up with a UL listing, even though they are responsible for fires and yes even deaths. But buying one of the products that has that listing signifies that testing had been done on it to ensure its relative safety. Do some slip through the cracks? Absolutely. Are some the fault of the installation conditions (what would equate to the prior diseases or health issues of the person getting the shot)? Definitely. Does that mean no one should buy or use UL listed items? Not in the least. Your comparison was a bad one.

Serious question: Every home in America has light switches. You're about to build yourself a new house. Over the last 10 months, the switches from Company X has ki---d over 10,000 people according to US government data. The gov says they are safe switches, but if one ki--s you or burns your house down your family cannot hold the manufacturer liable in any way.

Now, are you going to install light switches from Company X in your home? After all, with a hundred million homes across the US, the risk is 'low', and the gov says they are safe. So are you going with Company X or another alternative?

I am vaccinated because I am not stupid. Millions got it and did not drop dead from it. Give me a break.

Thank to your family members who have been working as nurses, medical staff and doctors thru this pandemic. It is a great sacrifice and it is appreciated.

This year alone 4 people I know have died from Covid-19. A neighbor in his late 70s with multiple health issues, another neighbor who was 40 with diabetes and 2 family members, both in their mid to late 60s.

The common denominator, none of them were vaccinated. They all died before their time. They brought on their demise and hastened their own deaths. They left behind devastated families and the mourning has not ceased. They were evenly split between being Republicans and Democrats.

If we all remember, early on in March and April of 2020 last year, we were all scared and praying, begging for scientists to come up with a cure. The scientists did us one better, they gave us a preventative treatment. Yet we sit here and refuse to take it.

Our infants and young children have suffered because we as adults refused to do the right thing. We let politics and Facebook conspiracies divide us as neighbors, friends and family. We threw tantrums over masks and doing the right thing for our fellow man. We failed our children by not protecting them and getting vaccinated for their sake so they could return to school and have a childhood that we experienced. We failed our medical teams by exhausting them to their breaking point because we were going to “die on that political conspiracy hill” and not get vaccinated.

No one is treading on your rights. If anything you are treading on my right to live.

The Silent Generation and Early Baby Boomers beat Polio, Small Pox and Measles, Mumps and Reubella. As a society we nearly eradicated those diseases. My Gen X’s had to show proof of vaccination before being enrolled and admitted to school. What’s the problem now? Would you want to live or suffer a lifetime with any of those diseases?

I know people that get Botox, Fillers, Chemical Peels and some have had other Cosmetic Procedures. So you will get a Brazilian Bu-t Lift or put foreign objects such as Br---t Implants in your body, fill your face up, but you won’t get 2 shots to prevent your death? Interesting. You trust your cosmetic procedures, but you don’t trust the Covid-19 vaccine? Hmmmm.

For those who do not believe in the vaccine, don’t go to the hospital when you get symptoms or get sick. Don’t believe the science and don’t beg to be cared for since you chose not to get vaccinated. It’s that simple. Don’t ask doctors and nurses to cure you and make you better if you don’t believe in science. It’s now come down to “Selection of Care,” meaning you will be a statistic and used as a data point to determine whether we save your life or the child who has a ruptured appendix or the man who just suffered a heart attack. Who has the best chance of survival? Not the unvaccinated. You made that choice, so live with it.

Keep those hospital beds open for pregnant women, births, those battling cancer and those who actually need medical attention for their conditions and real emergencies.

Look at your EOC and EOB for your health insurance 2022 enrollment. Many health insurance companies are writing in their policy that if you chose not to get vaccinated for Covid-19 then you will pay a premium and you will be saddled with the hospital bills, higher deductibles, higher copays and higher coinsurance payments. You’re not going to be covered. You will be on the hook financially. Are you prepared to go into financial ruin of hundreds of thousands of dollars to save your life? Are you ready to file for bankruptcy from medical debt? Are you ready to be dropped from your policy?

I had a long sit down talk with my retired parents in December 2020. Dad has 40% kidney function, mom has the onset of Parkinson’s, plus multiple other pre existing conditions. I made it clear that we as a family would get vaccinated. For their sake and ours. We believe in science. We believe in God. We believe that God has given man the knowledge and wisdom needed to help mankind. We believe in doing the right thing. We believe prayers were heard and answered when a vaccine was made available.

I explained that the moment I take you to the hospital with symptoms, is the moment I might never see you again. The moment they put a tube down your throat, you have a 50% or less chance of surviving. I can’t visit you, I can’t comfort you, I can’t hold your hand. You will die alone and I will witness it on FaceTime. Is that how you want to die?

We did not resist wearing masks, we still do in public spaces and when riding public transportation. We did not resist the vaccine, we got both shots and our 3rd booster.

I also made sure they got both Pneumonia Shots and their 2021 Flu Vaccines. I also got my Flu Vaccine.

I’m begging you, for your sake and the future of your children, please get vaccinated.

Yeah come on GET VACCINATED AGAINST COVID! It is a privilege to live in the USA and have access to a FREE Covid vaccine so that you do not die from the deadly disease. As a child we went to get the new polio vaccine in the 1960's. How sad it would have been to get polio if one did not get that vaccine when it was available then. Such a terrible, crippling disease. But polio did not even ki-l you, like Covid can for some people. Who dies from getting Covid, and who does not, that can be changed by getting vaccinated against Covid.

Just to clarify, RN daughter working in the Charlotte, NC hospital ICU says most of the recent ICU patients the hospital staff treated HAD COVID and most of them DO DIE from it once it gets so bad they have to be in the ICU. Get vaccinated against Covid. She has not gotten Covid while treating all of those sick hospital patients, by the grace of GOD.

My daughter who is a registered nurse, with a Masters degree, and worked at a Charlotte, NC hospital in the ICU department told me again tonight that most of the recent ICU patients are unvaccinated against Covid and that most of them who enter the ICU do die. She said some of them survive, but then leave with tubes in their throats, and Covid complications. She is getting a new nursing ICU job now, traveling nurse. Would suggest that people DO get vaccinated against Covid. My daughter actually used to work at Wells Fargo as a phone banker but then moved on to a medical career. She is going on a short vacation this week, to the beach, to get away from caring for all of the unvaccinated dying Covid ICU patients for a few days.

OSHA doesn't make law, and in this case 10A > federal "rules" that are outside of that level of government's purview. States can/do impose mandates, and they have held up in court. Feds? No. Not for anyone outside their own work force. Case law is pretty clear.
