4th QTR ESS Survey

The 4th QTR ESS Survey is out. So many of my peers share that they are afraid to be honest on these surveys. If you don't think Verizon is a great place to work, stop saying that it is. Use the Comment box to provide examples of the things you post on this Blog. Provide honest feedback. I am sick of people that will complain on this Blog but will not be honest when given the opportunity.

I was honest and blasted how i felt since covid, less pay, more slavery and u dont want us to send upgrades out of the store but yet you dont pay us.. 8 year rep who was used to being treated well to being treated like total

Make no mistake. Theses surveys are NOT anonymous. A few people in my group gave a fair to middling rating on the last one and we had to face an angry manager wanting to know why. Kinda funny how they define anonymous here.

The survey is not anonymous. They tell you it is. Yet, you can't forward it to anyone else, they know if you have or haven't done it and it pops up in your about you has a to do. Why do you think that is? Do you really think they care? Of course they don't. It's an easy way to track who they should get rid of based on the answers. Why bother filing it out?

The vaccine won’t be forever if people stand up and fight against it. For those that believe in it, great! It’s for you and if you feel it protects you, awesome! But what happens when they say you have to get it or you can’t get food or groceries? Or when they say they need to put a chip in you to detect if you have the virus. Then that chip is your way to buy food and groceries? Oh you might say that goes against your religion or your privacy but you were ok with the government forcing something on everyone else. It’s ok when you believe in something but if the tables turn, then what? If you have the shot why are you worried about me having it?

We 1% have patience. There will be plenty of jobs out there once your side effects start kicking in. I will just sit back and watch and wait. There is life outside of Verizon, and plenty of jobs and good careers not accepting communism.

@2wgu+1dsc7CPR you are the minority, no matter how loud you are. just like donny isn't coming back this vaccine mandate isn't going away. we are tried of you 1% refusing to do something basic like get a vaccine, we have to treat you like children.

Also all those saying they will leave Verizon, where you going to go? You have horrible work history, poor education, very low skills, and most of you are 50 and white. Not to mention most jobs are going to require proof of vaccine anyway during the interview and you stuttering and stammering will just be a red flag to dump your resume asap.

These surveys ARE NOT anonymous. They just want the volume of surveys and participation.
Have you ever SEEN the feedback of your peers??? Why is that private???? Is it because it's rigged and they score it whatever they want to score it??? Have you seen how NPS pulls text analytics wrong...that's the same with these surveys. If it is inaccurate feedback, it is eliminated. Speaking as a former HRBP that was "downsized", I know these results are fraudulent and a misrepresentation of the feedback from the people.

Everyday I work I have to deal with at least 2-3 iphones that won't activate. This company is a disgrace. We can't even develop a system to activate phones. We have one job to activate phones and this fu----g company can't even provide that to its employees. All the aggrevation makes me want to tell all my friends family and even customers sometimes to use a different carrier because we can't seem to get our sh-t together. Sorry not sorry shareholders I hope it loses you all money so that then maybe something will get done. Until then I'll keep clerking and not recommending our wireless services to everyone I care about.

These surveys are pointless and I never fill them out. For starters they never asked the right questions. Example: The number 1 tool that every single employee uses each day to get their work done is email. Yet NOT a single question about the biggest tool used. Even mickey-mouse companies us MS Outlook.... BUT NO... NOT US! WE WENT FROM THE BEST EMAIL PRODUCTION TOOL TO GOOGLE GMAIL! And everyone complained, everyone wrote case by case examples, EVEN DIRECTORS got into the action.... NO... NO... use Gmail or leave the company. SO WHAT ON GODS GREEN EARTH MAKES ANY OF YOU THINK THESE SURVEYS DO ANYTHING? THEY DO NOTHING BUT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MAKE THEM FEEL GOOD. GMAIL ANYONE, GMAIL.... GMAIL ANYONE GMAIL AND WE STILL ARE USING THAT PIECE OF TRASH!

I filled it out honestly and typed up a paragraph about the systems being a continuous daily issue for us. I know nothing will be fixed but its important to let them know how much it affects our day to day. Its embarrassing. We're a tech company who can't seem to fix its own tech issues.
