I have not.

What are "Workplace friends"...................?
"The Pride TMN members always meet up for their Tinderish Frarority key parties. And the BAA TMN members still meet to strategize on how to ensure they are the only voice to intimidate “The Man” so their inept members can get promotions."
Sounds like you rehearse hate.
Yes, we never stopped. We did more outdoor stuff, though.

Beyond that, work is work and there is no need to meet up outside of work unless you get a chance to be in the Wells Fargo suite at your favorite concert/sport event. (I bet bill daley meets chainsaw outside of work for nooners now and then.)
No it sure isn't. We all do the same things as well with our friends or coworkers, especially if we don't know if they are vaccinated, or if they do a bunch of traveling. I don't go to movies, I don't go out to eat, I don't ride public transit, I don't go to stores (except groceries if I have to), I still sanitize or wash my hands after going to public places, and I avoid contact with anyone who is not "in my bubble", unless masks and precautions are used.
I am immune compromised (2 medicines I have to take so my body doesn't eat itself alive) and so are a few of my family members including a couple of my children and parents, so we take every precaution we can, and that wont be changing anytime soon.
He-l no. No way to I want to be around those losers
for real? What part of the bank do you work in? This is a fascinatingly compliant, fearful take on matters. I'm soo curious.
I have not since being reorg'd again to a manager I don't know, work I'm not interested in or have experience with. Before that, yes, a couple of times each year even though we WFH, were spread all over the U.S. and we had a blast. I don't care to meet anyone on my new team. I'm interviewing outside the bank.
I've been WFH for over 10 years...last time I met with my team was 3 years ago.
@1tex+1dqRd0dM I used to have a year until they changed it...now it' only 44 weeks after 23 years of service.
No one is close. My team is scattered across U.S.
Meet an an open bar, assuming everyone is vaccinated. Or a park, or someone's backyard.
We've had a few pool parties where everyone has their shots and we're out in the open air.
Mine are unfortunately scattered across the US.
Yes. Many times. Some great people work here
No but a few of us have had zoom happy hours.
@1kfn I'm not religious, but I pray every day that I get laid off. I'll be here gloating about my year+ of paid vacation.
I haven’t even met up with some of my actual friends since covid, so no. Work is work.
@1qys+1dqRd0dM be careful, you just may be the next one to be laid off with that stance.
Nearest coworker is 350 miles away and is not someone I would want to spend my personal time with. Decent coworker though.
I have no desire to hang out with anyone on my team while outside of work even if they're around.
Never seen my bosses face and its been a couple of years now. I imagine a fat white guy who mumbles into a expensive microphone.
Heck yeah. CJ and I stroll the halls and laugh at all the plebs that we make wear masks.
I have been invited to meet up with co-workers but I have declined each time. I am in no rush to be around co-workers. Once we RTO we will be back to being elbow to elbow 8 hours a day, 5 days a week soon enough. No need to rush things.
Several times
I haven’t even met with friends in person outside of work. I have been by myself alone in my house nonstop since February 2020. Isn’t that what we’ve all been doing? That’s what Comedy Central on demand says.
I wasn't meeting up with them before COVID soooo, no.
nope our lunch plans keep moving out every couple of months
Considering that my nearest teammate is in Bumphuk, Iowa and I'm in Texas...no.
