Charlie was put on the spot about not clearing many consent orders and getting new ones. As expected he shrugged and pulled an ole.

VP title is only good for when the company scapegoats you, that way the news reports can indicate "an officer at wfb" was caught with his hand in the cookie jar
@uvk+1djqVpKx totally agree

Evp and sevp are not easy to get- reserved for 1-2 down from OC. They give out avp/vp like water now.
To those who say that the title , VP, is not what it may appear to be, there may be some truth to that. I remember a recruiter once telling a group of us (not a group in banking) that VP is an impactful position in the job seeking world. That is, unless you are in insurance or banking.
Lower your expectations of CS. He's here for the money and gets paid regardless of things however minor or major. We make money regardless of the goals and are too big for the regulators to anything real. Profits even with the cap.
And I don’t even want to admit I am a VP. It’s meaningless
Lol, i’m a vp and all i do is code apps.
dude his people came in at EVP and SEVP level. VP is for janitors at this point
There is so much hidden from Charlie (and other leadership.) The plans are good but not being consistently implemented. https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/10/10/a-guide-to-all-of-wells-fargos-consent-orders/ Many of the JPMC hires (given VP and SVP titles) didn't have skillset to do roles assigned. Not sure regulators are paying attention.
he likse to punt by saying all these issues predate my tenure
