Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Tommorow is Q3 Earnings Call - Fresh and Early

If Charlie doesn't show some stellar and i mean stellar numbers tomorrow, he and his washed up has been crew are out the door. Board should have taken Warren Buffet's advice and hired someone outside of banking. Charlie's been here for 2 years with leeches and the stock hasn't moved. They don't show great numbers tomorrow they all get fired and replaced shortly after year end.

Charlie got his work in about DEI in his email today. That is all that matters. Strong DEI, strong Wells Fargo. Yeah, right.

@tuj+1djIv84V Why don't you find me a job if it is so easy? Some people find it a pain in the you know what to do that. And everyone's situation is different. Also, just find a job. What does that mean, really. Behind the counter at the 7-Eleven? My skills aren't transferable at my salary level and I have dependents. I could go on but I've made my point. Good luck to those out there in shoes similar to mine as we may need it.

@cjf+1djIv84V I find the part about the SH revolt interesting. I have also posted, and still think, like a lot of other people, that Chucky won't make it past 2022. Actually, I'd be shocked if he did.

And the earnings were rather good…

OP, are you satisfied enough that Charlie may keep his job?

Unfortunately he can’t be fired for hurting the feelings of sno flakes

The company will be sold off in pieces and parts.

CS knew that and that's why he brought in all his cronies to feed off the WF carcass as a last money-grabbing hurrah.

That's also why he's never once cared about employees or tried to motivate them. When the Board asks you to close up shop, you don't spend time worrying about staff.

I wish he would accelerate the layoffs. We are still way too inefficient

Chuckie doll is here to stay. He's getting a huge salary. The Board of Directors will not fire him and he isn't quitting. Get used to the cr_p show.

Charlie was hired about 2 years ago. Stock price then was 49.27 today 45.86. Charlie should be on this forum not us:)

@fmh+
There's a break point coming up quick. The board is nothing more than plug in play for 300-400k pay days for a couple of meetings. Charlie has very little time before the board is gone and Charlie and company are disgraced for not completing a turn around, less than 6mo is my estimate, this has gone on far far to long. Shareholders will have the bank sold off in parts. No more regulator mess to deal with. And frankly it will be great, all the regulators watching Wells Fargo will be looking for a job as well.. services not required.

I totally agree with @fmh. He isn’t going anywhere and it’s funny you think he will ever be fired. That would make sense if it was anyone but some rich CEO with Dimon connections. This board bl*ws and so does he, so, using WF logic, he won’t go anywhere unless he quits.

Unfortunately, he's not going anywhere, any time soon. The board has shown full confidence in him, and the stick has been stable despite a sh-t economy and scandal after scandal.

He's the exact type of sleazeball the board loves.
