Mandatory vaccination required by Dec 8th

You will have to provide proof of vaccination by December 8th. If you are not interested in the vaccination you will be off payroll 45 days later.

The President also signed an Executive Order directing that this standard be extended to employees of contractors that do business with the federal government.

It's 12/8 for all except Retail. Retail is 2/1. All new hires after 1/1 have to be vaccinated to be hired. VCG work from home is exempt. Union currently exempt, but that could change.

And forgot to mention, there has been NO executive order for private sector companies. The executive order from last month has only been for federal workers. VZ is using the excuse that since they do business with and have contact & contracts with federal workers & the federal government, the entire company as a result should have a vax mandate.

It’s a pretty shaky and thin rationalization, but they want to appear woke. They could care less about the health and safety of their employees. And as expected, they are always followers and not leaders.

A federal judge in Texas on Tuesday already issued a temporary restraining order TRO for United airlines mandatory vaccine mandate for employees wishing to be exempt. It was only a matter of time before that happened.

After all, Federal judges, Circuit Court of Appeals, etc. blocked a lot of the previous President’s EOs with TROs, injunctions, etc

If you have to provide proof for this vaccine why not the other ones you have gotten in your lifetime. This should be no different. Corrupt government, in general. It's amazing how many people actually do research. If you did, you wouldn't take the vaccine. But since you didn't then you are just sheep. At the end of the day, we will see who is standing tall in 3 to 5 years. Get your blood check and let me know what your doctor says. Live long and prosper!

Just announced on Up To Speed and just got email from Craig Silliman. Vaccine mandate by 12/8 for all non-union employees. VZ talking to union now and expect union to also comply.
