Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Execs always land on their feet

No matter how bad they were in their previous job. It's sickening.

The company also hired Mani Sulur, previously executive vice president and control executive for the consumer lending businesses at Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC), to be chief risk officer for USAA Federal Savings Bank.

Mani was beyond worthless as a control exec. He went on a hiring spree and made a hugely complicated organization that never even took off and ended up laying a bunch off. He was in over his head in PVSI and then Consumer Lending. Now thinks he can be a CRO for a decent sized institution? LOL!

Executives and even mid level VP’s belong to a club most of us aren’t in. They’re a mix of genuinely good leaders and aggressive sociopaths. Most are not to be trusted

@1wit+1dio4LHB. Why focus on them? Focus on yourself. What keeps you from not being promoted, not marketable and not getting hired for a better position? What makes you stick with Wells instead of moving on?

What is it they know that keeps them employed? What behavioral traits make them employable, because they certainly aren't worried about lay offs? some do very little yet still golden parachute. Let's document what works so the fear of lay off is gone.

No clue how mani is anywhere near qualified for a CRO role.. he barely did anything with the risks in his area as control exec. Good riddance.

Agreed. Plenty of Fool's Gold being exchanged between companies. Some of these leaders are made out of Teflon.

As I said before, there is the elite and then there is us. Until we revolt it will remain that way
