Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Is Charlie d-mb enough to demand vaccination like this place?

https://www.cnbc.com/2021/10/12/covid-vaccine-southwest-ceo-gary-kelly-says-he-never-wanted-a-mandate.html

Southwest CEO demanded vaccination and 1000's of flights canceled and it created a transportation nightmare. Can't wait for Charlie to act tuff and pull this. 40% of the people won't go to work. This place barely runs with 100%, if 40% of the people don't show and you'll see a financial mess of epic proportions. And RTO demands.. At this point Charlie shouldn't be demanding jack sh1t, I'll be at home.

you can thrash around, throw personal insults, twist whatever sad stories you want to make you feel self righteous. Vaccine mandates have held up in court, many times before covid and now many times since covid.

It's coming.

If you wanted to learn about one of MLKs protests in Alabama, would you ask MLK / the protestors, or would you ask George Wallace?

The CEO of SW sure as heck isn't going to tell the truth about any of this, he's going to tell you what his company's lawyers, marketing people, and the government tells him to tell us. Pretty much the opposite of a reliable source.

I did get it straight from the horses mouth...from the protestors themselves. You're suggesting that we get good info from a guy with a vested interest in squashing the protest. That makes no sense. It's like asking the Germans about the Warsaw Uprising. Think you're going to get solid info? No, you'll get a well prepared stack of lies.

it's going to happen under OSHA law so I don't see what the conversation is about - it's going to happen.

Having said that, the website that tracks our vaccination status asks if we've been vaccinated. It doesn't ask for proof. One could argue it's better to voluntary fill in a vaccinated status when not mandatory than having to drag it out of you later.

Southwest’s GK probably hangs out in Davos with WF’s BD and BR. He has to toe the line with the people trying to make it illegal to be a natural human.

So go and watch Gary Kelly on CNBC and get it straight from the horse's mouth. You're welcome to run around with your conspiracy theories if you feel that way inclined but outside of farcebook, you just look stupid.

Ohhh, now it's the app. lol, keep changing the story until something sticks.

Are the pics and videos of SW employees also "the app" failing?

Nice projection on "fear" also, from the merchants of fear. The same people that say we just give up every fundamental human Right in order to be "safe". 100% of the fear is coming from the arm band wearing fascists with syringes in their hands.

So sophisticated. So smart. So tyrannical / fascist.

They have three apps that they use for routing and scheduling. They over committed and the apps didn't work as well as they thought and the whole thing went pear shaped. Maybe in your fevered imagination it was because of some vague threat to enforce vaccine mandates but the facts are not on your side. CEO's can not just go on TV and misrepresent material facts without the risk of going to jail. QAnon much do you Jethro?

Yes yes, weather, definitely weather, and air traffic control issues, that only caused ONE airline to cancel 800-1000 flights two days in a row. It's that airline specific weather / air traffic control don't ya know. Meanwhile, the syringe packing fascists that actually believe that line of BS run around calling everyone else 'd-mb', 'immature', 'Jethro', 'plague rats' and other hate speech intended to make the people they hate seem less intelligent. So tell us, arm band wearers, how does 'weather' affect SW planes and not the planes of other airlines? And why are there so many pics of Gadsden flags hanging out of airplane windows and videos of employees saying 'this is a protest!'? Contrary to what some think, you don't have to burn down cities and ki-l people to protest. SW airlines employees did protest, and the people carrying water for The Narrative are trying to silence that protest by pretending it never happened. So much for 1A Rights. There was a time when Americans on all sides believed in Freedom of Speech. Sadly, about 40% of the population has decided that they prefer tyranny and The Narrative, and they'll attack/cancel/demonize anyone that gets in their way. It's sad, and there's nothing 'smart' about it.

So if it was really weather and traffic control, why weren't other airlines affected at all?

You would think other airlines would have had at least a few cancellations and issues, but I didn't hear anything about them. Also, didn't hear any news reports about serious weather in Florida that caused issues.

Seems curious that it happened a few days after the CEO comments and vaccine edict, no?

@1xgv+1dhsdgxT SW Air did have a revolt. It WAS because their president "suggested" take the shot or move on. Your attempt at explaining logistics is farcical.

lol, SW employees disagree with you. Well, except for the execs at the top that have their marching orders on messaging in-hand.

contrary to speculation, there was no sick-out at Southwest because of the vaccine mandate.

They fell victim to their own business model, which relies on very tightly scheduled logistics of where planes need to be for the next flight. any mechanical failures or weather delays have a huge ripple effect through their system, and that's what happened this weekend.

@1bsp+1dhsdgxT. Agree. Also deductible should be higher if they get sick and if there is not enough bed in hospital then vaccinated people get to stay before unvaccinated.

JPM and BAC have increased costs for the unvaccinated through either health insurance or testing. They should do the same at Wells. Just like health insurance can be more for smokers, it should be more for unvaccinated.

Um, last I read y'all can get tested in lieu of getting vaccinated. Don't act like you're being treated inhumanely.

The only question to ask here is whether Jamie Dimon is going to require the COVID vaccine. If Jamie does it, Chuckie does the same.

The Biden admin hasn't even issued a directive. Nothing has come through OSHA, and it would have a 60 day review period (and likely months or years of court fights) afterwards. There's no federal mandate yet - it was a unilateral press release. Why did they do it? Because it gives cover to Uncle Klaus' Davos friends to push the rule through and blame the Biden admin for it.

We have over 100 employees, obviously. Wells has no choice. The mandate will apply to both federal and private business.

Stop being irresponsible, get your vaccine, or prepare for weekly testing.

Or better yet, quit. We don't need more inconsiderate knuckledraggers in the workforce.

I would guess they are considering it for sure since we all had to complete the survey. But I would also guess there are a lot who chose not to answer or who said no, which us why we haven't seen anything come out yet. Hopefully they don't, or let those people WFH, or else will be a huge disaster.

One has nothing to do with the other. The fools love perpetuating fake rumors.

BTW- My iPad stopped working the day after Biden announced vaccine mandates. And it rained. Let’s blame both occurrences on vaccine mandates.

We are not fed employees nor fed contractors, as SW Air is. So it is a different issue. Who really knows with Charlie. After all, having Wells with less employees is a goal.
