And as expected, the results are no bueno. Like really bad. More to come.

Survey is in Employees are out.
The survey responses are not anonymous. Employee Relations reached out to me once after I answered an employee satisfaction survey honestly and candidly. I asked them how and why they were contacting me if the surveys are anonymous. She stated there is some ability to track respondents, but that direct managers would not know who is making comments about them. Right. I experienced constant micromanagement and targeting after the survey and the ER follow-up.
Team just met with middle manager to go over results. Results not good. High % of team have/are considering leaving WF. Results are direct response to SVB's directives. For tech folks: Relocate or leave. No hiring outside selected locations (ki----g off the only path for advancement). External cloud infrastructure and third-party solutions (increasing security vulnerability surface area).
Actions speak louder than words. Your actions have told the employees you truly don't care. You care about money, and only money. You operate as if employees are an obstacle to you having more of it.
I once took one of those surveys. I was on the outs anyway with the manager and I told the truth about her. I said she was a bully manager and her clique were bullies, as well. She had meetings with h/r regarding the survey results.
A couple of weeks later, she tells me, let's go, and I was out. I didn't care. I expressed how I felt .
The answers are anonymous and rolled up at each manager level. If you are answering low on some items, your manager will likely know its you, because you likely are already exhibiting behavior that reflects your answers. If a large swath of your team answers poorly on a given question, your manager should address those. It’s not because they get a report of person x provided these specific responses. They also group up the comments into different trends the analysts might see, they don't publish the exact comments made.
Employees are our competitive advantage and we encourage a culture of honest and frequent feedback. We Care.
Seriously, just how anonymous are these surveys? Something always made me wonder if the manager might know who answered what.
I once had a manager ain’t recor get so mad at the survey results that she followed up with her own survey and the results were even worse. She then pulled us all into a conference room and berated everyone and told us it was our perception only and not reality. Many people reported her and nothing was ever done about it of course
I had a manager comment that he would be talking about the survey results in the next team meeting but that his were overall good with a few “weird ones.” Sounds like he’s ready to take criticism seriously and not look for retaliations I guess. This is why I don’t bother personally with this stuff. Even if it’s anonymous you’re still getting indirectly shamed for your responses if you paint a less than glowing picture
any manager having had at least 7 directs respond to the survey can see the results so it is available to big a small teams assuming they had at least 7 responses. if you are a manager with <7 you won't see your results and will have to rely on your management to share the greater results.
They highlighted good participation results, nothing about this place being a dumpster fire.
We take the people survey very seriously. We had extremely high participation from our employees. The high degree of transparency and candor exhibited by our employees is incorporated into reports distilled for middle and senior managers.
@1jdd I wrote that garbage. I simply regurgitated every single VotT survey results email I've seen in the last 20+ years.
It's the same boilerplate management ego st-----g every time.
I commented honest on the survey I really tore them a new one.
But for some reason I am still employed...
You will be targeted for your comments you thought were anonymous.......look around you, data is collected on you at every turn, this is no different. Now they know the dissenters........you "will" pay for not falling in line.
I'm no longer going to fill out surveys unless they guarantee the results will be shared.
I cannot even remember one of the questions, and i did take the survey. I remember a couple questions were worded in such a way that you didn’t know who you were critiquing.
Who wrote that 💩? 👇 HR? 🤡 Sounds like propaganda…like people worried about their jobs will tell you how they REALLY feel.
@bdy Yup, this is exactly how they'll try to spin it. To cowardly to address the actual concerns uncovered by the survey.
The survey results are in and there is plenty of good news.
People are happy with the benefits Wells Fargo offers.
Return to Office is something people are looking forward to.
Everybody is happy that the stock price has remained strong despite the uncertain economic outlook.
The survey also highlighted areas where we can offer improvements and we are working diligently and deliberately to address those concerns. More will be shared on this later this month.
I think I saw an email about a survey and another one saying time to fill it out was extended.
I didn't really hear much about it. Management didn't bring it up. No one cared to waste time on it. Doubt I'll hear a word about it.
We do real work. Not fill out surveys.
You mean people actually take that thing? I still remember Moldofsky’s meltdown when most of marketing blew it off a few years back.
Good times!
Wait. What? I’ve heard nothing.
my leadership shared our groups results with us yesterday.
These surveys aren’t free. More waste of company resources.
Look for retaliation.
A long time ago, in a BU far, far away, the Gallup 12 results were shared freely. Today, not so much. They will bury it. I have zero faith in the integrity and veracity of WF management and HR.
Meanwhile, the BUs that scored poorly will begin their plots to blame, isolate, sabotage and force out the employees they think ratted them out. Certain groups are so maligned, the poor treatment of employees so pervasive, it is going to get much worse. The culture here is not to cure wrongs. It is to lift and shift responsibility and get rid of the whistleblowers.
Not that I think any other giant corporation is better.
They wont share specifics, so whatever.
Survey says!…
