Let's put all the politics and infighting aside for a day, be thankful for what we have and that we have jobs in the first place, even if we have to worry about losing them, and enjoy a day off with our friends and family. Turn off the news and be thankful.

You mean the pipeline that didn’t affect gas prices or availability in this country one iota and did nothing but leak and cause environmental damage?

It's a global supply and demand problem. There's nothing anyone can do other than OPEC producing more oil and global labor shortage problems getting resolved. Doesn't make any difference who the current president is.
Sure, while i spent 75% more to fill up my gas tank and pay much more for my thanksgiving meal and I cringe at the thought of the costs of presents this upcoming month. That is, if they are even on the shelf. All because of what our US pres did to restrict oil flows in pipelines to appease carbon footprint n_zis. Sorry, no. All the pres needed to do was leave the energy sector alone, and gas and food and supplies would be normal.
May all, that have been laid off from any job be blessed and find a better paying and more fulfilling job after this holiday.
