Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

2021 bonus question

Do you have to be currently working at Wells Fargo on the day 2021 bonuses are paid out in order to receive it? If you work all year in 2021 and then quit in January 2022, do you still receive it?

Unless you put in that you are retiring, if you're eligible, you won't get paid.

There are many reasons they now pay in February rather than waiting until March and it's all about the taxes.

bonuss started being paid in early February last year when they moved the entire year end perf and comp cycle up a month. I think you need to be employed through Feb 2 2022 to get your bonus which is in your Feb 4 paycheck. Feb 2 is the day they send the payroll file out.

Nope. You have to be working until the money is deposited into your account, first pay in February. Otherwise, you forfeit your bonus. That is of course, unless you retire or get displaced.
