So, competitors and headhunters are taking advantage of the asinine return to office stance that Chucky and his cronies have taken. I’ve personally had several organizations that feature remote work as part of their culture reach out. Seems that this idea of forcing RTO is going to help the competitors win the talent war. Good for them, for actually thinking logically!

You are likely the carrier’s because you Don’t let yourself get hurt, eat some dirt, get an infection, build up an immunity and learn to live in this big scary world. Instead you run and hide behind all your big fancy threats and lawsuits if you dare catch sight of the virus. Good luck with outrunning the virus.

I’m okay coming in for special events like all hands meetings. But why in the world would anyone ever want to go back to the office day to day. Workers finally have a little control over our work lives. Let’s hold firm. They can’t layoff all of us.
My husband and I feel the same and we won't be returning to the old way of doing things anytime soon...if ever. The pandemic has changed things for us and for our families. We have had two very serious hospitalizations from COVID in our families early on and that was enough for us.
When schools went back to in person, our 9th grader made the decision along with some of her friends to attend an online high school instead, and she loves it. I'll be the only one going back to the office and it's going to be a major source of stress for me.

Same for me & my family! No more brick & mortar for me. The more people that do this - the bigger the ripple effect will be. Direct your money to where it matters to you. Brick & mortar is old business. New business is 1's & 0's - digital! Get with the times! A suit, a handshake, or a conversation in person doesn't make any business better. I will use my dollar to support the opposite.
You do not have to go with conglomerate big warehouse stores when shopping online either. I have found many local places that do call ahead pick-ups or deliveries instead of using the mega retailers.

I do. No movies, malls, or grocery stores at busy hours, etc. All appointments scheduled in advance, no walk-ins done. Dentist sees me on his slowest day, and actually appreciated that. No public concerts, no mass gatherings, and my family wont be having a big gigantic family holiday. There is also a baptism that my niece is doing while social distanced, low number of people invited and streamed for others who want to watch - that was the church's plan as they don't do them during service anymore. Restaurants are take out only. Groceries are shopped for online and picked up. All other goods are delivered. It required very little adjustment and has freed up so much more time in addition to being safer.
When I go back to the office I have no issues with mask mandates, but I will not be going in conference rooms, will not be using any public transit, and I will not be eating in any restaurants near my work site. I have a friend who lives close to my work site, and he is letting me park in his garage while I work. As soon as the clock hits quitting time, I am a ghost. No overtime, no late hours, no weekend work. I will not be in a building where I have zero control over my safety for a minute longer than I have to be.
Waahhhhhhh, another cry baby. So move on you big winner. Do you stay home from restaurants and everywhere else people may be in greater numbers? I doubt it, you and everyone else complaining about RTO that worked in the office before are nothing but hypocritical whiney babies.
