Has anyone else had a conference call recently that said it is to discuss job architecture? I’m a branch manager by the way and wondering what this call is about or what job roll is next to be eliminated or consolidated?

@1xab+1dKAAYbu, No, your title will be…..Drone
Can I be a teller software senior associate ?
The job remapping, especially sales roles, is still being worked on so not sure what everyone is talking about - fake news.
I’m sure I’ll continue being someone’s b1tch. Call it what you want. WGAS.
less job titles.
customer service rep = operations associate
work director = operations associate
teller = operations associate
business consultant = operations associate
janitor = operations associate
I am only a worker bee. Will I be retitled to queen bee?
there has been a little communication to all employees about this with some links to more info over the last few months. do a search on teamworks. another email went out to all managers today along with a 20min presentation video with more info and that they will need to communicate the JA changes by 11/30. more details will go out to managers on 11/17 however they can see their team members new titles and grades in staff mgmt now if they know where to look, but all this will be communicated to them next week. no one is getting laid off or demoted or lower salary, this is just getting ready for work day, reducing job family complexity, and taking it out of lob hands and putting it in hr hands
I’m hoping for the illustrious AVP Principal Teller position
All jobs will be condensed down into one of three titles: Teller, Software Engineer, and Manager. Each title will also have a matching "Senior" version.
Within each title will also be the meaningless classifications of Officer, Associate Vice President, and Vice President.
Two titles only outside Chuckles - flunky and chief flunky
Most manager roles will be reclassified as Jackwad 1. Titles are going to be more descriptive.
I was also wondering about this as my manager mentioned it but said they didn’t have all the info yet.
It's not about layoffs. It's about getting ready for the new HR system. HR is reducing the number of job families and titles. They are standardizing job titles, so they'll be more consistent across the company. Everybody will learn about it this month.
Hopefully no more useless "workflow coordinator" roles. It seems that is the catch-all for managers who want employees to do other things outside of the job description the rest of the employees have.
Look it up on Teamworks, there’s some info out there. I’ve just heard it’s job title changes to make them more consistent across the bank. I don’t believe it’s a downsizing activity.
You are getting mansplained what your employees roles will be changing to and how to communicate it out. This will be getting rolled out to all managers during the month of Nov
They are flattening job roles. I'm sure that's what its about.
