The fact is that being miserable at work is all on you. Yes, the company sucks and it treats employees horribly but you're the one not doing anything about it. You're the only one who has the power as well as the responsibility to do something to change your situation. I understand that it's scary changing companies but if it turns out you made a mistake then move again. You always have that same choice. I stay because of my pay. If I didn't have a reason like so many of you, I'd be long gone by now. It's all on you.

I'm just hanging around and hoping for a layoff and severance. It's hard to be miserable when you're financially able to retire at any time.
For me, it's just something to do during the day. I've been mentally checked-out from WF for years. I'm not alone..................
Some of us have filed HR and ethics complaints on the same people over and over and nothing happens. We have been ignored, We have been dismissed. Why should I lose my income due to incompetence? STFU. You have no idea what people are doing behind the scenes until a lawsuit gets settled.

Nope, not gonna accept this HR inspired rhetoric. They don't want us, they can pay a severance package. Most folks have been through this washing machine a few times, did not participate in the scandals, only to watch the perpetrators pull the rip cord on golden parachutes.
Now new management comes in with unexceptional buddies from other places and labels us as no good. We the workers should leave money on the table?
Anyone who advocates workers should cave in and just leave, you're just a stooge for the man.

For a variety of reasons, it might not be so easy to find some else that's better.
All companies suck. They are run by sel-centered Machiavellian dictators. Their attitude is RTO or quit. Deal with no raise or quit. Get the vaccine or be fired. This is the human condition and not Wells Fargo

Why do you visit this site then? And/or, why do you choose to carry water for WF? Would they carry it for you?
Running away from a problem is easy, but that doesn't make it a better choice than trying to solve the problem.
And that's what many are here to do. To share and gather information to help solve whatever problem they're having.
And these problems are not trivial. It's not practical to go to one's manager, especially if the manager is the problem.
It's overly simplistic to assume that running away is the best course of action.
