Verizon (NYSE:VZ) has a new leader of its consumer operations.
The wireless carrier named Manon Brouillette as executive VP and CEO of Verizon Consumer Group starting Jan. 1.
She's replacing Ronan Dunne, who will segue into a strategic adviser for the company.
Brouillette had joined Verizon in July as chief operating officer and deputy CEO, after serving as President/CEO of Canada's fast-growing Vidéotron.
“Leveraging our investment in C-band and the pending Tracfone acquisition, Manon will continue to scale our Consumer business across home and mobile," CEO Hans Vestberg says.
“Ronan made an incredible mark on our company,” Vestberg says. “We look forward to his continued support as my strategic adviser and our board representative for Yahoo.”

From a bonus perspective June is the optimum time for executives to leave Verizon.
Tammi sold $2M of stock in May at $58.26. That was one third of what she has. She will probably sell the rest before she gets the golden parachute.
Guru dumped all if his shares, for almost $3.4M, around $55 and $59.

R0nan is out cause he was the one that decided AGAINST participating in the 2016 auction for 600 megahertz spectrum that T Mo ended up snatching up and rolled out its 5G network on. 600 megahertz can travel long distances, penetrate buildings thus requiring less towers. T Mo is 5G king!
R0nan was the one that thought buying spectrum in the mmwave band was a good idea. This band can only travel 1/10th of a mile and can't penetrate buildings. It also loses signal in the rain and fog. The good news 'IF' you can get a signal by standing completely still is that you get 1000 meg speed which is about 995 meg than you need to view TikTok.

She ran a $3b cable company in Canada for a few years and is now the ceo of vcg with $24b in revenue. She just joined vz in June. This is like what they did with hans. Spent one year as our CTO and then became CEO quickly.
