Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Job interview questions

Those of you who've been interviewing lately with other banks, do interviewers still ask about fraud and ethics if they see you're coming from Wells Fargo, or has the dust settled by now?
Just to clarify, I don't think there's anything wrong with those questions, I'm just curious if the stigma is still attached to employees years down the line.

Hasn't been asked. Multiple institutions getting my feelers out there. Never asked. Been over a year.

I said something like "I'm sure you've seen the headlines in the news about some of the things that were going on, but the business unit that I was in wasn't involved in any of that".

I never get a direct question, though there sometimes is side conversation. I acknowledge that Wells Fargo is going through some things. But my role isn't a customer-facing one, so it isn't directly relevant to the jobs I'm interviewing for.

I did get asked about how it’s been handled in a interview for a risk exec
