Poll: Will the Wells Fargo Board remove Charlie?

Will they remove him? Yes or No?
When?
Who will they appoint in his place?

Didn’t someone from JP Morgan recently join the board? If you think this board is going to hold Charlie accountable, I have beachfront property in Des Moines to sell you.

I think it would take another major public disaster much worse than the current series of less visible missteps for the board to take any action

After how long it took to find someone to take the job? No. The gig is not more attractive now than it was two years ago.

They’ll stick with what they’ve got. Not much alternative.

No, Charlie will not be removed. His buddy system would ask him to step down and he would, if/when things get/got too hot.

@noh

  • Q2 2020 being magnitudes worse than expected
  • "voluntary attrition"
  • ”While it might sound like an excuse, the unfortunate reality is that there is a very limited pool of black talent to recruit from,”
  • Ending personal loans/LOC, only to retract that choice

Literally one major missstep every 6 months.

What bad decisions are you referring to? I mean actual bad decisions and not the nonsense from the fevered imaginations of some of the people who post here.

Considering the BOD seems to want to continuously enable Charlie to make bad decision after bad decision, and that they were basically forced to give him what he wanted?

I doubt they're willing to eat crow and look like the incompetent old fools that they are.

There's a reason the world's greatest investor walked away from them.

Yes, if Charlie is still in by the end of 2022. Bill Daley, the consummate number two man who has been a number one several times and would do a good job as an appointed interim. This also assumes that Daley doesn't jump before a Charlie ouster.

No. But you should hold your breath until they do

No, and this makes the other questions besides the point.
