Outlook has been broken for well over 7 years. What particular issue woke you up?
Just move it to the cloud. That will fix everything.
@pnk+1d3tIf05; former employee here. What is the Scott Dillon treatment? did he get canned?
I'll just say this is what happens when you layoff American workers and hire replacements for them overseas.
Great work Apu.
It was self-inflicted.
How typical.
I think a cyber security incident this week would be supremely ironic
So is there an RCA? People are [truly] joking that KL sabotaged us.
Too bad it wasn't a multi-day DC outage so SVB could have been given the Scott Dillon treatment.
We should only be so lucky.
Are we all calm now or the sky is still falling?
This is what you get when you order the spaghetti instead of the lasagna.
sips coffee
Reboot and reconnect to the VPN. It happens from time to time.
Wait... Do you mean to tell me that the innovative Six S strategy didn't fix this immediately?
so all of you waiting on hold over an hour to get a hold of IT thought that was a good use of your time during a widespread outage? I'm guessing you also like to reply all to emails with a large distribution. Stuff happens, even Google and Netflix go down every once in a while.
This is why they want RTO.
They have completely dismantled back office support.
Soon we will write memo's on stone tablets with chisels cause thats all chainsaw will want to pay for, cause, you know....stonk options and buybacks.
I wonder why the continuity management system isn’t used to notify us of what’s going on.
Is it because it also is down/unavailable and useless?
@mgg+1d3tIf05. Yeah!! Like I need to buy a new pair of shoes and getting laid off would stop me from doing that.
You should be able to reset it on the ctrl alt del options on login
I think it may be back up? But now I'm locked out since I tried to change my password, thinking I put it in too many times. And I've been on hold for over an hr.
It has everything to do with layoffs.
When IT experts leave, stuff breaks and takes longer to fix.
What does a computer issue have to do with layoffs? Common people!
Took me over an hour to get in today lots of errors and password prompts. Outlook was down too. Called help desk on hold for over an hour. Crazy.
Shut your machine down completely. Everything will be okay once you start up again.
It's working now. I don't know how we stay in business
The dumpster fire continues
Yes and Teamwork’s is down too. Did Charlie fire all the IT people who actually make this stuff work?
That was short-lived. Reboot and apps are up and running again. Happy Tues.
My manager has been on hold for over an hour waiting for help desk to see what’s going on.
It's company wide and tech is having issues logging on.
Offline since 640am CST. Came back online at 805 but offline again.
Imagine being in retail banking and having customers flipping out currently….sorry can’t do this can’t do that we can only manually process checks which takes ten times the amount. Hey if someone wants to commit fraud and cash some bad checks now is the time!!
IT’S WORKING FOR ME NOW! Mine was out. I restarted a minute ago and it let me in finally. Outlook is working.
I’m really surprised something like this happened. We are so rock solid in all out processes, seems impossible for something like this to happen.
This would never have happened if we all had an office.
I'm glad we all have work phones, so we can still communicate. Oh, wait...
Way to go with broadcasting which specific apps that may have been affected to a potential bad actor. Great OPSEC, y'all!
If you didn't already have the internal WF helpdesk number added to your phone contacts, then you are a day late and a dollar short.
I swear. This company is run like a well oiled dumpster fire.
It’s a widespread network issue. Not sure that anyone can online. Hopefully WF wasn’t hacked or anything. Lol
Panic panic panic!!!
I'm having this issue as well.
you guys are id--ts. if you call into TC, do you think they are able to login to answer your call? it is a waiting game at this point. a free day until it's resolved
