Those who get on every thread where people are complaining and telling them to quit, denying that the situation is as bad as it is... What do you get out of it? It's not as if your boss is going to see it, it doesn't have the same effect as in-person bu-t kissing. Are you just so used to it that you have no idea how to quit?

Why is it OP that you cannot possibly understand there is a different side. A different point of view. I am a cheerleader for myself and I happen to work for a company, WF, that has treated me very well for a long time. Just a worker and a front to middle line leader who knows where my place is and has the work ethic to get what I want. In this world there are so many opportunities that you only have yourself to blame when you are not happy. Change your scenery or change your attitude, whichever it takes. But until you understand that you are not owed anything and that you are not entitled to anything you will continue to blame others for your failure.
Nice straw man / false choice. I'm just anti-id--t. Sometimes employees are id--ts, sometimes the leadership are id--ts. The idea that we all must align ourselves with one group ALL the time means that by definition we intentionally/knowingly align ourselves with idiocy because... reasons. It also ignores the fact that mutually beneficial things happen all the time, which means the two "sides" aren't in opposition all the time. What are we "supposed" to do then? Self-loathe? I'll go on thinking for myself, feel free to keep on telling others how they are supposed to think/act. I'm sure you'll make a lot of progress with that.
I for one would never be a cheerleader for WF...CR---Y company and I can't wait until I retire at year end. Their Prevention area lacks severely and they have potential but apparently they don't give a r@ts a$$.

I'm not sure why the OP thinks that one person telling person to quit whining and get a job elsewhere is "cheerleading" for the company. They really don't have anything to do with each other. I can call you an id--t without waving the WF flag.
I came to WFC via an acquisition as well.
I came from a top notch ethical company who treated their employees as assets and their customers as the golden goose. No fraud, no scandals, no forced layoffs (they did offer voluntary packages), no assert cap imposed by the Federal Reserve, no testifying before the Senate Banking committee, no forced ranking of employees, monthly 401K matches vs annual here, , 401K match in cash vs company stock here, low-fee funds in the 401k vs high fees funds here, 10% discount on employee stock purchase program, no company stock buybacks necessary to manipulate the company stock price, no offshoring of US jobs, no instability in the top ranks of leadership, no dividend cuts.
Anyone who says this is a good company to work for doesn’t know the facts.
Cheerleading a company on a website about that company letting people go, and possibly upending their lives, is not what smart people do.
Smart people don't have time for that.
I guess what I'm saying is, it's not smart people cheerleading WF, at least on this site.

I'm not the person you were responding to although I do tend to agree with their statement. I'm here through acquisition, not choice. It isn't the best company I've worked for but I've seen far worse over the years. Just my opinion.

OP. I am out here quite a bit. I think we have people on here who get their kicks out of being contrarians. They live for taking the opposite view of everyone simply to ruffle feathers. They are pathetic human beings, IMO.
Either that, or they are brand new and just haven’t been burned yet. But rest assured: the burn is coming. It doesn’t matter how hard you work, how skilled you are, how little work/life balance you put up with - WFC leadership will eventually put their own best interests above yours. Don’t trust them for one second.

I have seen many posts where people have the Sunday night blues. I have never seen one post where someone said they are “terrified” to go to work Monday morning.
It's a valid question. If you love working here and you like the way the company is being run, what do you gain from coming here and trolling those who aren't in that happy place?
