I'm actually happy there are people who refuse to be vaccinated because that means we get more time away from the office? For as long as the hospitals are getting filled once again, there's no chance WFC will bring us back. And I can't stress enough how much I hate the idea of RTO now that I have experienced WFH.

Any vax that is rendered ineffective after 6 months is worthless. The politicians are grabbing power, and you bet your bu-t those Bank CEO meetings in the White Hkuse included a comment that, “if you don’t require it, you get no government contracts”.
I listen to medical professionals (and I happen to be married to one with access to many more) rather than anonymous internet sites or talking heads with an agenda, political, tv ratings, mouse clicks or otherwise.
Medical folks say get a damn shot. You have an almost certain chance of not being in the hospital on a respirator and with lung problems the rest of your life even if you do happen to beat it and not die. Or you could be one of the 99.5% unvaccinated filling up a Covid floor in the local hospital right now.
It’s not brain surgery. No one in their right mind is going to wait for the complete 5-10 year dr-g trial during a pandemic unless they have lost what’s left of their damn mind.

Spot on @pac+1coCHVzd. Does it ki-l the virus? YES or NO. NO, it does not. They told us back in January that we had to wear a mask even after vaccination. They knew we were still contagious. This is why it has EUA. They are going to use the data from the last 6-12 months to determine if and when the vaccine should be fully approved. Ya'll need to do your homework and stop bullying people who are waiting to get vaccinated. We can spread and create variants too. Stop acting like you are smarter then everyone else. You are not virologist. You are parroting what you hear from unreliable sources with one opinion. Some are waiting for more data. How is that a bad thing? We are just as contagious as they are. You are being political puppets. Love thy neighbor. But please stay six feet away while doing so.

The vaccine is safe and while you may still catch the virus, it's highly, and I mean highly, unlikely you will notice, and if you do you won't end up ventilated.

Stop spreading misinformation and stop taking "facts" out of context, and please, please, please, stop getting your virus information from any politcal website or cable news channel.
There are a bunch of people on this thread who are lacking the ability to read and understand data, so they deserve to be laid off from Wells Fargo. For those holding out for “5-10” years to see the results before getting vaccine, I hope you don’t get COVID-19 and die in the next 12 months. The vaccine is proven to mitigate the risk of infection and significantly lower your chances of becoming severely ill. If you still doubt that, I guess we will let Darwinism take over. To the person who started this thread asking if they are a bad person for wanting COVID to spread more so they can avoid RTO - yes, you are a horrible person. If you don’t like working for WF or their RTO policy, then find another job. It’s that simple.
I've worked MANY more hours since WFH. I would prefer to stay home.

Maybe make the case for WFH instead of hoping others get sick is a better idea.
I think WFH is a better option for WF and the employees, based on a long list of benefits you can easily find posted over and over again on this site.
So you may or may not be a bad person, I don't know you, but you are posting a bad method to achieve your goal.
Why not punish people by FIRING them? Why are you punishing people who actually work great from home or office. What is this? 1st grade? Seriously. Reward those that work. Punishing us is only going to cause bitterness, anger, resentment and those with true talent won't work hard and we will work harder at trying to leave. You will be left with the lazy, ignorant, talentless fools which will cause audit and compliance risk and errors for which you absolutely cannot afford. Why do I bother attending these calls? These are not leaders. They are sociopaths and followers. You cannot suggest to them anything. They have blinders on with their one size fits all attitudes. Just admit you were wrong about your location strategy and move on. We will respect you in the morning.
If someone with a tech title is trying to install software to keep Windows awake their tech card should be pulled immediately.

Seriously though, you're right, and people are waking up to it. Taking a cure with some side effects is one thing, taking something that merely treats symptoms, might ki-l you, and has completely unknown long term side effects is madness. People should be free to make the decision, but I'll go ahead and wait for 5-10 years of data to come in that show no long term issues before I sign up for any injections.

There are plenty of ways to run executables without admin rights. It's bizarre that people who work on computers all day long know so little about them.

WFH may be great for you personally but this current situation is going to have long term impacts. If you feel so strongly about working from home, I hope you get the opportunity to keep that at WF - but encourage you to instead find a job where you can WFH AND hope for society to return to normal. Restaurants need to open, kids need to be back in schools, etc. etc.

I have spoken to many companies and they say that's their layout plan.

if you really believe the experimental shot in your arm is a vaccine, I feel for you. the data shows it doesn't stop you from getting the virus, doesn't stop you from spreading it, and might be the reason this virus did not burn out on its own
I think everyone who thinks RTO isn't going to happen anytime soon may be in for a surprise. I left WF for another large employer. We're going back day after Labor Day. Their reasoning is that Covid isn't going away, there will continue to be ups and downs and new variants. The end is NOT in sight. We all know other companies doing the same thing.

This is why you should learn to code. No need to install software to do that if you know vbscript, applescript, vba, etc.
You only need to do that in Teams anyway. For Skype you can literally change a setting to make it stay green for hours on end, then play a youtube radio station to keep screen from locking and done.
WF will implement a vaccine policy as soon as it becomes fully authorized. My guess if that happens by Oct as expected, we will be back in office after New Years Day. It gives the unvax 60 days to decide if they want a job or not. It would also be a great timeline to not pay bonuses out to the unvaxed, due to the 12/31 date. The goal here is to cut cost people!!!

Only if you have admin rights. If at this point you have admin rights and are installing software to mimic mouse movement, the company has other problems.
Not sure how we can RTO , everyone in my family has COVID right now and they all had the Vax. I haven’t gotten it yet but I already got it back in Feb.
The unvaccinated are making this virus linger and the longer the virus lingers, the weaker the economy will become and the weaker the economy becomes, jobs everywhere will be lost. I am not sure how many of you are not grasping that. You won't not be wfh, but you will be home and unemployed.

WFH because of covid has nothing to do with you or others losing their jobs because of the hub strategy that will take affect.

No, but granting so many people WFH has screwed it up for those of us who have been doing it for years. Too many have been ja--ing around instead of working, getting caught installing software on their laptops to simulate mouse movements to try to hide being away. Thanks a lot to the id--ts doing this.
