Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Indeed.com censorship

Tried to post an honest review of WF on indeed and they rejected it. Clearly they are worried about losing that sweet sweet wells fargo ad money. It makes me lose faith in these large career sites, because how can you trust their reviews? Also, if Wells is a two star company with them censoring, how much worse would their rating be if they allowed free speech?

Anyway: here it is.

Senior management is all from Chase Bank now, they insist on creating too many layers of fake management jobs, hire a bunch of consultants to pat them on the back, and meanwhile layoff customer-facing employees who actually do real work. The culture is so broken and everyone is overworked and constantly threatened with job layoffs. The technology is always breaking, lines of business do not communicate with each other, and everything is overcomplicated. It is almost impossible to get through the work day without someone in a stupid fake role like “sales coach” or “sales consultant” telling you how to “do your job better”, meanwhile taking you away from actually doing your job. There is actually a goal of logging complaints, as if that was a good thing! Wells has had its problems in the past, but this new chase-fargo crew is so bad.

Glassdoor for reviews?
Re: all the bureaucratic nonsense we deal with... It's no wonder the fintechs are eating our lunch.

I submitted an honest review about another large bank that likes to brag that they're one of the best places to work for on indeed and indeed rejected it, as well.
People need to know the real deal with these companies and know what they're getting themselves into.
I honestly wished I had known.

Right on brother, we are asked to do more in a sea of red tape and with less people. Brilliant ideas flowing down from the inept C Suite stuffed suits.

That’s because this new management team is all preciously failed theory and no substance. Not to mention they have no idea how things work among those who actually DO the work.

If anything, they made it harder, not improve anything. Especially with all the layoffs that were not well thought out.

Just wondering how a bank with a BBB rating which fluctuates between NR and F coach anyone, with these type of ratings management is irrelevant. This is after how many years of harvesting complaints for anything and nothing changes. Management either does not care or is incompetent.

A bureaucratic nightmare for those who actually do the work. Those created this mess are not subject to this complicated process heavy monster.

Nothing in the post is untrue. Maybe try removing words like stupid and fake and post it again. I don’t know, but it could be there are trigger words that cause posts to be automatically rejected.

Say the same thing in corporate speak and see what happens.

Nailed it.

“Everything is over complicated…” is an understatement.

Honestly, it shouldn’t be this hard for the customer and certainly shouldn’t be this hard to do my job. Everything is a form, with exception approval, then send it to a group for approval, then send it to Joe (who no longer works here), to Karen who wants to argue with me that’s it’s not her area, and back to me to figure out how to get it done in the end. Meanwhile customers are running for the exits while we look like a circus. I wouldn’t bank here.
